Psychologist MSc GMBPsS, Occupational Clinician, Coach Senior Practitioner (EMCC), Trainer, Founder of Positive Psychology Luxembourg
In Luxembourg we are slowly coming back to work after the summer when things were moving slowly or not at all no matter if you had or not your vacation. Still several reports (LISER or Chambre de salariés) state that employees in Luxembourg work more (40h/week with 1701h/year) than the sourounding countries (Germany has 37,7h/week with 1667h per year and similar holidays, Belgium and France even less). The proposal for a 4 day work/week was received with skepticism by companies and the report of Liser has mixed messages. Still the newly approved Mental Health National Plan forsee more prevention….We need to talk more about the factors of mental well being and give the opportunity to the people to apply it! We have all these money 😝 and for what?

After much contemplation, I'm thrilled to share that this Sunday, on December 31st, I'll be embarking on a new chapter. Hi, I'm Ariana, and as part of a relocation program, I'm excited to announce my move to Cincinnati, OH as a Mexico Account Representative at TQL. You might be wondering, "Why relocate far from family?" Well, I suffer from a unique condition – a relentless pursuit of opportunity (O bueno, mi familia dijera que soy muy inventora). Originating from a place where opportunities were scarce, I found myself dreaming of days like today. Growing up in a survival environment fueled my determination to seize any chance before me. "Why Cincinnati?" you might ask. It's a leap out of my comfort zone, a quest for personal growth, a chance to exchange cultures, and a commitment to becoming the best version of myself. While I cherish my family, this journey is about my self-discovery and professional success. (Also HQ has a Gym)😏. Am I scared? Absolutely. Am I excited? Without a doubt. The unknown is intimidating, yet it promises diverse experiences and endless learning. Moving from San Antonio to a city where only 4% of the population is Hispanic is a significant change, but it's the kind of challenge that fuels my excitement. As for the timing – why December 31st? Because why wait for tomorrow when today holds the promise of a new beginning. Also, let's not ignore the practicality of holiday discounts on tickets!🥹 This move is my way of embracing a new era and taking calculated risks. Stay tuned for updates on my Cincinnati journey. I might even share some tips for fellow newbies considering a move – lessons learned from my own adventure. Remember, take the risk. It might just lead you to extraordinary places. (O como dicen también “el que no llora no mama”). Btw, this is the first picture I took when I visited my office for the first time.

Week 4 of being at TAMI Starting a new job is always a mix of excitement, feeling like the new kid at school, and getting to really understand what is going on day to day. If there is anything that I could take away from the last few weeks, it would be the following: 📶 Data is King - Having the right data on your target accounts and identifying the right accounts for your team to pursue is more important now than ever. With the rise of tools like Outreach and Salesloft, it's easier than ever to contact vast numbers of prospects, but the spray-and-pray approach really isn't the way to go. It's the best way to get a bad reputation and it's totally unnecessary. 🏋♀️ Your people are your superpower - Getting to know people when you start is one thing, but getting to know their skills and talents is so much more important. Luckily, I've joined a team with a huge amount of talent. Not only in the sales team but across the board, the TAMI team is really impressive at what they do. 🎷 The small things make the culture - Simple things like music playing in the background, team events, and clear and consistent communication make all the difference in how people feel day to day. Good culture is key, especially in such a young company. There will be bumps along the way, but if people are bought into the project, it makes it so much easier. Now it's time to kick on and make some waves - more to come! 💪

Corporate Thought Leader | Innovation Strategist | Co-Creator of MBA in Design Thinking RMIT | Driving Human Capability & Performance | Author of The Wonder Mindset
Taking time off or away from the kids are the 2 biggest reasons people tell us they shy away from personal and professional development. When a boss sends someone to SHE EVOLVES we get thank you emails from the attendee and the boss. When she sends herself to SHE EVOLVES she thanks us (and herself). When a husband sends his wife to SHE EVOLVES we get thank you emails from the attendee and the husband. Everyone agrees, when SHE takes a few days away at SHE EVOLVES everyone benefits. As a former corporate executive I know how hard it is to step away from the hustle, as an entrepreneur I know how difficult it is to prioritise spend when there are so many competing priorities. That’s why I designed She Evolves. For Mums to hit reset. For execs to prevent burnout. For entrepreneurs to grow their network. For everyone to focus on self development and growth. I’m a woman who wears many hats 🎩 🧢 👒 so it’s designed for multifaceted ambitious women who need more. 22-25th August, JOIN ME in Byron Bay and learn strategies for success, meet amazing women who become your besties and support network, hit reset on your well-being and of course have a bit of fun 🤩 while learning from a line up of truly inspiring thought leaders. 💜
2 days away from the office for a full transformation of your mindset, emerge feeling connected, confident and ready to roll. Join us 22-25th August in Byron Bay 💜

12 weeks in my new job! Good point to have a look back … This year I decided to change the company I work for to have more time with my family and reduce the time commuting to work. 🚆 In my previous job I traveled a lot between my home town and Berlin. That was okay, but of course it was a trade off with my family life. 👨👩👦 Now I work 100% remote with the option to be in the celebrate company Hamburg office. During the last 12 weeks I visited the office almost every week! I was able to combine it bringing my son to the kindergarten. 🤩 In addition I visited my Rosemood colleagues in France. This type of freedom works much better for me! I am not forced to go to the office, but have the option to do it 👍 In the first 12 weeks I had the following 5 goals 👇 1. Get to know every member of my team, set up reporting lines and team structure. 2. Get a first feeling of improvement opportunities in my department. 3. Synch with the CEO about my understanding of product management and the expectations about the next year. 4. Identify partners in crime and key stakeholders to work with and start building relationships. 5. Make the first impact as a product leader. Even though I still have some more things to do, I achieved progress in all of them. That’s important to me! 🤨 Why? The faster I get a connection to the team, clarify the work related, critical questions and get in synch with the CEO and my colleagues, the faster I can bring value to my team and company! 💎 As a leader I have to find out for myself what’s necessary to make impact and if I can make impact in existing structures. Never forget that’s it’s also a decision if YOU want to stay in a company or not. Too many people believe that only the company must decide if you fit or not, but that’s wrong. 🫵 At celebrate company I have the feeling that I can make an impact in the upcoming months and years. I will be able to create value for the people I work with, for our customers and business. Of course it’s a lot of work, but that was expected! Life would be boring for me without big challenges. 🚀
