Will helmets replace the iconic hard hats in Construction? What if those helmets were smart? Let's talk safety. Modular construction offers a safer workplace than traditional construction methods across the board. There's a number of reasons for this: 1.) Factory controlled environment. Due to a large portion of construction taking place in a factory controlled environment, many environmental risks, such as bad weather can be removed. 2.)Consistent location. Constructing in the same facility allows workers to become familiar with their environment and be more situationally aware. 3.)Streamlined construction processes reduce the potential for dangerous mistakes and reliance on heavy machinery. 4.) Less workers onsite means less overall accidents and easier communication to avoid potential accidents and better deal with any accidents that do happen. #healthandsafety #CIFsafety2023 #Modularconstruction #MMC #modernmethodsofconstruction
