Here are some things to learn about fearful dogs. Please look at this. If your own dog is fearful in a situation, you need to remove the dog from the situation until it feels safe again. NEVER FORCE YOUR DOG INTO A SITUATION/ENVIRONMENT IT DOESN'T FEEL SAFE IN (only exception is the Veterinary office). Forcing your dog into a situation that scares him/her is a recipe for disaster. Learn your dog's behaviors and body languages.

This is National Dog Bite Prevention Week. So this #WellnessWednesday is all about dog bites. Any dog can bite: big or small, male or female, young or old. Even the cuddliest, fuzziest, sweetest pet can bite if provoked. Remember, it is not a dog's breed that determines whether it will bite, but rather the dog's individual history and behavior. Check out this informative guide from the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) on dog bite prevention. #WellnessWednesday #oakwellvet

𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐨𝐠𝐬. Why is my dog breathing heavily? There are several possible answers to this question, so be aware of that. All dogs occasionally pant. However, if symptoms continue for a lengthy period of time, you should consult your veterinarian at Gardiners Road Animal Hospital in Kingston. Here are some possible causes of excessive panting. However, it is crucial to remember that these might be causes of a dog's panting. To find out the specifics, you must take your dog to the veterinarian. The causes of excessive panting can range from simple behavioral reactions to more significant medical conditions, so it is not always necessary to seek emergency veterinarian attention. Knowing what causes this in your pet will help you respond appropriately if the scenario ever occurs. Mr. Rick is an animal owner (a 5-month-old Caucasian puppy), who complains of his unavailability to provide the necessary care and training for his furry friends. He complains of his dog's dwindling health, eating less or refusing to eat the food at times, not listening to basic commands he gives to him, never wanting to walk with him whenever he is around him, he poos and wets on paper inside the house, though he takes him outside, he never budges but returns inside to do all that. Frustrated at his dog's behavior, he cried out, "Maybe it's because I am not always around to care for the dog, because of my busy schedule, and my inability to locate a competent veterinarian around me." He looks at his dog with pitiful eyes, thinking in his mind that, "He ought to be my companion and not a stranger to me." On a faithful day, he talked to his friend about it, and he introduced him to a veterinarian, whom he consulted, asked him basic questions, and ended up educating him about the dog's health and behavior. Raising an animal, especially a furry friend, requires being forearmed with practical education and an expert who holds your hands to guide you through the process. Dogs, depending on the breed, require a level of attention and concentration from their owners. Not giving them these may lead to them seeing you as a stranger or uncaring owner. Training a dog effectively also involves understanding their age where they are receptive to instructions and training, which is around 3 weeks to 4 months old. Taking advantage of this makes it easier to train them. I am sure you may be in this condition as an animal owner (pet owner), looking for an effective way to care for your pet in the comfort of your home. I am here to provide you with details information and a guide on how to effectively care for and train your animals to raise an active and obedient companion. let's meet in the comment section for more gist.
