This week, let's talk about #DRSAlliance members’ products that form our offering called, ‘Smart Design’.  Smart Design products include high-speed kinematic surveying, digital track planning and a digital coordination environment. Together, these solutions recently played a crucial role in successfully planning the current construction phase of the #Riedbahn high-performance corridor – the complete refurbishment of the railway line between Frankfurt and Mannheim, which is the busiest corridor in the #DeutscheBahn network. Thanks to Smart Design’s innovative products, OBERMEYER Group, along with partners Track Machines Connected, ProVI GmbH, Ingenieurgesellschaft für Verkehrs- u. Eisenbahnwesen mbH and Rail Track Analyzer GmbH were enabled to deliver fully approved execution plans for #Spitzke and #LeonhardWeiss in record time. 🚀 Partnership Announcement! 🚀   At the recent successful test event, we announced multiple partnerships. The first one we want to highlight is the collaboration between Hardt Hyperloop, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Railway Business, and our Spanish hyperloop partner Zeleros to develop a hyperloop demonstration track in India!   L&T Railway Business provides comprehensive solutions for railways and urban transit systems. They work on significant mega projects around the world covering civil, track, electrification works, and system integration, including the high-speed rail project in India.   This partnership combines the advanced hyperloop technologies from Hardt Hyperloop, the engineering and construction expertise of L&T, and the innovative energy and automation solutions from Zeleros.   Our collaborative efforts will focus on creating a short-length demonstration track, setting the stage for future large-scale hyperloop projects.   This demonstration track will build upon Hardt Hyperloop's successful hyperloop technologies recently demonstrated in the European Hyperloop Center, which is supported by the European Commission, the Dutch Government, and many other top companies.   This project aligns with Indian Railways’ vision to have five operational hyperloop lines by 2047, celebrating 100 years of Indian independence.   Stay tuned to how this partnership progresses!   #hyperloop #innovation #sustainability #india

The bridge, 236 meters long and made of several modules, will allow vehicles to cross at a maximum speed of 60 km/h, providing a 100-meter stretch for construction work underneath. Each module weighs 33 tons, with additional modules for access and connection. The pilot project costs 20 million Swiss francs ($22.5 million USD) and is currently in the implementation phase. Initial tests were conducted in late Fall 2021, with the first use in Spring 2022 between Recherswil and Kriegstetten. This initiative aims to minimize traffic disruptions, optimize work processes, and reduce overall costs. It addresses challenges such as increasing traffic, high costs of night work, noise restrictions, and safety setup time.
