For BIC Innovation, bringing our growing team together for our annual team day is essential for more than just the usual company updates on performance, it’s an opportunity to meet new colleagues and catch up with colleagues who work in different locations, which as we’ve grown has become more challenging both logistically and in finding the right date in everyone’s diary! To make the most of having everyone together, and as part of our TWENTY years in business celebrations, at our most recent away day in Newtown’s Hafan Yr Afon, we set our colleagues ‘The Innovator’ task. Our Chairman, Alun Thomas, fully embraced the role of ‘Alun Siwgr’ (can you guess where the inspiration came from?) and set colleagues the challenge of exploring new business development ideas to build a stronger and more resilient BIC. Luckily, no one was fired (Alun didn’t take it that far), but we did get the opportunity to unleash some creative thinking and the teams put forward some exciting ideas for the Board to explore further. While the delivery of setting the task was very much tongue in check, the underlying objective of getting colleagues interacting, sparking innovation and strengthening connections between each other was very much achieved, and all with plenty of laughter. Looking forward to the next one! 🚀 #TeamBuilding #EmployeeEngagement #Innovation #CompanyCulture #BusinessDevelopment

Brand Ambassador @ Crombie. Professor - International Trade @ U.C.S.F & U.N.L. Expert in International Trade. Bachelor's degree in International Relationships. Olympic Weightlifting coach. Flag Football QB
🏈 Turns out, I'm not the only Green Bay Packers fan in here...It's game day spirit at Crombie as we celebrate birthdays and Crombieversaries. Suuuuuuper happy to see another 🧀head in town. Just like in football, building a great company and being a good Tech Partner is all about teamwork and strategic plays. Let's keep pushing forward together and scoring big wins in tech! 🚀 Here are three value points on the importance of a well-rounded team like the 90’s Brett Favre era: 🏈 👀Diverse Perspectives: A well-rounded team brings together individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and experiences. This diversity fosters a range of perspectives and ideas, leading to more innovative solutions to complex problems. Each team member contributes unique insights that collectively enhance decision-making and creativity. 🏈 😎Efficiency and Collaboration: When everyone works together cohesively, tasks are completed more efficiently. Each team member understands their role and responsibilities, leveraging their strengths to contribute effectively to shared goals. Collaboration minimizes duplication of effort, speeds up project timelines, and ensures that projects are completed on schedule and within budget. 🏈 🫂Resilience and Adaptability: In today's dynamic business environment, a well-rounded team is essential for navigating challenges and adapting to change. Team members with varied expertise and skills can pivot quickly when faced with unexpected obstacles or market shifts. This adaptability allows the team to stay agile, innovate in response to emerging trends, and maintain a competitive edge in the industry. These points underscore how a diverse and collaborative team can drive success by fostering innovation, efficiency, and adaptability in achieving organizational goals. 💻 #Teamwork #SoftwareDevelopment #GreenBayPackers #TechInnovation

What a fantastic offsite meeting we had yesterday! We took a moment to deep dive into our past accomplishments and celebrated all the wins from last year. But you know what? Last year is in the rearview mirror now. We're geared up and excited about the new opportunities in this fresh fiscal year.I've always believed that it's not just about the results we achieve, but the journey we take to get there. Why? Because of People and culture. When you get People and Culture right, the results naturally fall into place. It's not about chasing numbers; it's about nurturing an environment where every person has the opportunity to thrive and contribute their best. The Northstar chart below is our guide to success. Remember, it's not just about ticking off boxes—it's about fostering a community where everyone- team, client, and business partners- feels valued and motivated.Looking forward to another incredible year ahead with our amazing team!#TeamSpirit #NewYearNewGoals #PeopleFirst #CultureMatters

When I left the Innovation Team at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - ALSAC, I was legitimately afraid I'd never work on a team that good again. Bright, visionary, radically optimistic: those were the common threads. But our differences made each other--and the work--better. Today begins Week 3 at Gapingvoid Culture Design Group. It's a job I didn't know I wanted and wasn't technically looking for--but dang, what a gift to be doing culture design full-time. And even better: to be surrounded [once again] by wildly talented, thoughtful people doing creative, transformative work. Being a solopreneur for the past year was its own gift--with plenty of lessons, incredible partnerships, and lots space to lean into what lights me up. The biggest lesson of all? I missed [like, really really missed] being part of a team. Couldn't be happier to join an incredible one here at Gapingvoid.

Entrepreneur l Founder & CEO at Helloprint l Founder of The Home of Growth l Co-Founder Engaige Technologies
At the beginning of this year, we made the decision at Helloprint to restructure our team setup and operations to create a future-proof and independent company that would allow us to accelerate working on our vision. While this was not the first time we’ve gone through change, this was undoubtedly one of the most impactful and large ones. But as in every challenge we’ve faced during our 10-year existence, there was always one thing that guided us: Our powerful #culture that is the basis for everything. The past months gave us full focus on working on the actual fundament of every aspect of our company. We’ve changed systems, changed processes, accelerated automation, worked on all unit economics, accelerated the use of #AI, launched our API and Enterprise models, introduced new VIP and loyalty programs for our most loyal customers, accelerated our sustainability efforts, made next steps in on #Bcorp application, got our #ISO certifications, installed a new Culture Committee and worked on literally every customer-facing aspect and every customer process to build our future infrastructure and ensure the best basis for future growth. In all those months, we took our entire team along with us in the process. We kicked off our new “Season” last week with our entire team, and as a last step, we’ve gathered all leaders within Helloprint together for a two-day offsite this week, talking #vision, #mission and #strategy, but most and foremost: The 5 Aspects of our Culture. We’ve discussed what it takes to build #HighPerformance Teams, how we deal with Responsibility first and Freedom afterwards, how to increase our Context to avoid Control and how we can accelerate personal development via our #DesignYourself principle. This time, not a session with not only top management but with 23 diverse leaders from all offices and backgrounds to discuss and debate our impact on building towards our vision: Why? Because we firmly believe that there’s only one thing that can’t be copied in a company, and that’s the DNA and its culture, and that culture should be lived and breathed by the whole company. Big shout out to all great current and future leaders at Helloprint and of course all other Helloprinters, and special thanks to Merijn Zeeman of Team Jumbo-Visma for mirroring our vision with the winning vision of the #1 sports team in the world. We're almost through our fundamentals but this week's fundamental is a big one - Team Up with Stoneweg. As a firm it's critical that we operate as a team where all members play an important role. It's crucial for us to go beyond our job descriptions and be willing to step in and assist when needed. Our team is dedicated to moving our firm forward and partnering with external stakeholders and investors to achieve a common goal. Check out the insights below from one of our team members: "There are many ways to look at this fundamental, and it applies at various levels—department, company, and group. We all belong to the same organization, here to help each other and leverage our strengths, skills, and individuality. With over 300 employees at the group level, we are strong and capable when we stick together. We may have different ideas and solutions, but I have your back, just as I hope you have mine and that of all your colleagues. Let’s continue to debate internally, share our views, discuss openly, and align for the best results. However, we should stand together as "Team Stoneweg" when facing the outside world. Let's team up and show all our stakeholders how reliable, successful, responsible, and agile we are. In a world of uncertainty, where markets shift quickly, teaming up is our biggest advantage. Let’s ensure we team up on all levels and enjoy the feeling of belonging to a strong, capable, and caring organization." *The content of this text only expresses the ideas and vision of its author, and not of Stoneweg US. #corporateculture #culturewise #teamup #fundamentals
