𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐢𝐦 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐬 𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐲 👨🔬 🏭 Achieving these objectives requires a 𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 while guaranteeing sovereignty and security of supply. We have signed of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the #SMACITE and #GreenCo Erasmus projects through which we aim to revolutionize the sustainability of #SmartCities. GreenCo is dedicated to addressing the environmental challenges posed by digital advancements. By focusing on green IT and computing, GreenCo tackles #DigitalPollution, promotes efficient energy consumption, and champions #ewaste recycling. Their mission is to educate about the environmental impact of excessive data use and offer practical, easy-to-implement solutions to mitigate these effects. In tandem, SMACITE is pioneering Smart City technologies that collect and utilize data through advanced IT products and applications. The integration of GreenCo's eco-friendly practices ensures that these technological advancements are sustainable, reducing their environmental footprint. This partnership highlights the synergy between the two projects: SMACITE's technological innovations and GreenCo's environmental strategies. Together, they are committed to enhancing urban living by reducing the ecological impact of smart technologies and promoting sustainable practices. The overarching goal of this project is to implement a successful strategy that promotes the types of technological changes, governance schemes, shifts in mindset and organizational structures the water sector needs to become #circular ♻️. This will be achieved through an effective transfer of #innovative #water circular economy solutions and initiatives to further close water cycles, #reuse water, and #recover #energy, #nutrients, and other by-products from #wastewater, based on real-life experience in the #circular #economy.  BOOST-IN aims to bridge the gap between R&D outcomes and market implementation by providing the necessary tools and support to bring these innovations to fruition. 🎙️ STAY TUNED !!! LIFEproETV project is going on with building market acceptance and recognition of #ETV! Although #ETV is no longer a #EC operated programme , the #ISO14034 which is a #standard for the scheme defining how the #performance claim of an #environmentaltechnology should be credibly verified, sets up new opportunities for a market-driven as well as policy driven applications of ETV. It is particularly true for the usefulness of the objective information about the #greeninnovation which ETV provides in the context of a general call for #businesses to take #innovation no board in order to make their operations more #sustainable. These opportunities as well as planning of ETV promotion campaigns to be launched in Poland, Spain, Hungary, Slovenia and Spain later in autumn this year were discussed at our LIFEproETV project consortium meeting organised in Barcelona on 27-29.09.2023 by Cetaqua - Water Technology Centre. The campaigns will address #ETV use cases and #businesscases dedicated to ·        ETV and #GreenTaxonomy and #ESG reporting (Poland, Instytut Ekologii Terenów Uprzemysłowionych Terenów Uprzemysłowionych, Instytut Ochrony Środowiska-Państwowy Instytut Badawczy) ·        ETV and circular economy (Italy ENEA and Slovenia ZAG Slovenija) ·        ETV and innovations in water sector (Spain, Cetaqua - Water Technology Centre) ·        ETV as innovation ecosystem (Hungary, ) Also LIFEproETV project will shortly offer a new source of information about ETV dedicated to key stakeholders: technology developers and providers, buyers, #businesssupportorganisations and #testingcenters.
