Food and Drink:
🍴 The region has a long historic relationship with the traditional industries of farming and fishing, home to the world-renowned Aberdeen Angus Cattle and Europe’s largest seafood catches.
🍴 The North East is responsible for 20% of Scotland’s food and drink output.
🍴 Aberdeen is placing a higher emphasis on food and drink production, with public and private investment into projects like the ONE Seedpod. A £27 million investment in the food and drink industry to create an innovation hub for manufacturing and production in North East Scotland that will deliver regional and national growth ambitions, due to open later this year.
