The workshop will address the central question: "How do audiences and culture come together on social media?" through dialogue and practical solutions. #NARDIV in Romania continues - Wrap Up of the Summer School on #minorities under the theme "From the edge to the centre": 📢✍ When you bring students form various disciplines studying in Romania, France and Germany together and mix them with several experts in different fields in a Carpathian city in Transsilvania where most of the inhabitants are part of the Hungarian minority in Romania - you get a mix of insights, discussions and shared projects you could never expect - which is the beauty of #transcultural and #transdisciplinary #research. Besides thematic input on the summer school topic from the #NARDIV experts and PhDs the students got in touch with different forms of ways of portraying, reflecting on and dealing with the complex theme of minorities. They had the chance to meet inspiring figures who deal with minorities in their own way - ARTivist, actress and director Alina Șerban, theatre and film director Carmen Lidia Vidu, teacher and author Andreea Dumitru-Iacob and theatre director Hunor von Horváth. Cultural impressions of the region were gained through different art forms and an excursion to the Mikó Castle. The highlight of the Summer School were the intercultural projects the students themselves had to develop and pitch - some of them may be realized to bring minorities #fromtheedgetothecentre.
