"Climb the Ladder to Success, Safely!
🛡️ Here are a few golden rules for ladder safety:
1️⃣ Choose the right ladder for the task.
2️⃣ Inspect it thoroughly before use.
3️⃣ Maintain three points of contact at all times.

👏 Congratulations to Steven Burns, the recipient of the September Safety Champion award!
Steven's dedication to safe working practices and prioritising the safety of others is truly commendable. He has set a remarkable example for all of us at SCA Group, and we salute him for it.
One of the significant ways Steven demonstrated his commitment to safety was through his proactive approach using our client's "That's Not Right" QR Code initiative. Before starting work, Steven made sure that the proper safety measures were fully in place. He conscientiously ensured that his team did not commence work until the working environment was safe for everyone involved. This is the kind of responsible behavior we love to see!
A specific instance that highlights Steven's safety-oriented mindset was when he was about to erect scaffolding. Instead of overlooking a shortage of barrier chains, Steven promptly raised the issue through the client's "That's Not Right" QR code process. By doing so, he initiated a review of stock levels to ensure that enough barriers are always available. This vital action helps us create a safer work environment for all.
At SCA Group, we make it our priority to encourage everyone to prioritise safety in their daily tasks. There is nothing more important than going home safe to your families at the end of the day. Steven's actions exemplify this commitment, and we should all strive to emulate his dedication to safety.
Let's continue working together, keeping safety at the forefront of everything we do. Together, we can achieve excellence in safety and ensure the well-being of ourselves and our colleagues.

Today marks the start of Safety Week, and we’re thrilled to dive into our first topic: Personal Ownership.
At MWE, safety isn’t just a priority – it is a core value ingrained in everything we do. Personal ownership means each one of us takes responsibility for our actions, decisions, and surroundings to ensure a safe work environment for ourselves and the team. Whether it’s double-checking equipment, following proper procedures, or speaking up about potential hazards, every action counts in creating a culture of safety.
Let’s kick off Safety Week with a commitment to personal ownership and a collective dedication to safety excellence! #SafetyWeek#WorkplaceSafety#TeamSafety#MegawattElectrical#ConstructionSafetyWeek
