Leaders may think they know everything. Most likely, they do not. So I think I could boil down leadership into one word that would have sub meanings to it as well, and that word is courage. Courage can include managerial processes from looking out the best interest for the company, assuring processes, meeting goals, aligning budgets, also while having those tough conversations with employees. Beneath that second would be the intellectual courage that people need to provide. This acknowledges leaders may think they know. Everything most likely they do not. This allows them to be flexible, discover new conclusions, and also revolutionize their thoughts and processes behind decisions that they make. Lastly, beneath the word courage would be morals. This would include the ability to uphold ones beliefs in the face of resistance, the outward expression of your personal values towards the people that look up to you, and just well-being of all the employees and customers that work with our company.
I AM NO LEADER.
Yesterday itself I was about to write a post saying I am ok with being no leader. I am an introvert who loves to use less words. A person who likes the work more than the acclomades of the output. When I get scoldings for something which didn't work, it takes me immediately to troubleshooting mode. And if you ask about the charismatic factor: "NADA".
"We assume that confident people have the most potential for leadership but there is little overlap between confidence (how people think how good they are at something) and competence(how good they actually are at something)."
