The Open Autonomy Safety Case Framework initiative continues! First, if you haven't seen it already, check out the best practice on reporting safety cases from #SAE #AVSC available here: https://lnkd.in/eHK2fm-h. It contains a wealth of information, and also a handy reference to the #OASCF. We're also happy to share a version of the #OASCF in the Structure Assurance Case Metamodel (SACM) format, freely available here: https://lnkd.in/eYaTfZhg. If you're already using a safety case editing tool, you can load the #OASCF with this file. Adding on to thoughts from #AVSC and Kevin Gay — Edge Case appreciates the hard work of the authoring committee members and the opportunity to support #SAE’s safety mission. We look forward to using this best practice in our Open Autonomy Safety Case Framework and other efforts!
Earlier this week the AVSC published a new best practice on Core Automated Vehicle Safety Information, which is the culmination of over a year's worth of hard work by the working group. This best practice identifies a set of core safety topics that can be consistently shared with stakeholders and help set expectations when communicating AV safety information related to a specific use case or deployment. This is again excellent work by the AVSC members and the SAE staff, and I hope folks will check it out! https://lnkd.in/exVE9wwM
