Inventec announced their plan to invest $12.74 million USD in refurbishing a sterile environment within a freshly leased facility in the Czech Republic, which is expected to become a production base for servers and automotive electronics. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘃𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆?   My colleagues at diconium have conducted a comprehensive analysis (called decoDecode) over the past 12 month, evaluating over 700 digital services from more than 100 providers across Europe, China, and the USA. They’ve also gathered valuable user insights from key markets like Italy, France, Spain, Germany, and the UK.   𝗪𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀? Then you should join our inject session at IAA TRANSPORTATION. My colleague Helmut Stadler will share deeper insights and further elaborate on the following three hypotheses: 1. Spreading resources across digital services without differentiation is inefficient. OEMs should focus on vehicle-based solutions to stay competitive in an API-first world.   2. Third-party providers are limiting their full potential by focusing on hardware solutions. Open systems and cross-platform experiences among all players are the way forward, leveraging third-party providers software capabilities.   3. In an industry challenged by driver shortages, prioritizing drivers’ needs is essential.
