Interesting insights about Emirates Network Control Centre in Dubai and how each Emirates flight is constantly monitored. ✈️ #Emirates #Flybetter #Dubai #NetworkControlCentre
Community Builder | Pipeline Accelerator | Redefining Airline Operations & Crew Management | Airline Crewing Enigma Solver | Ladies Beyond Flying Wingman
Dubai-based Emirates airline carries the most international traffic of any airline across the globe. This translates into more than 3,600 flights each week and 520 flights each day to 158 destinations across six continents. Each flight is monitored by its 24x7 Network Control Centre, also called its ‘nerve centre’. The crew control team at the Network Control Centre looks after approximately 27,000 crew members on duty including 22,000 cabin crew and 4,000 flight crew. They deal with last-minute sickness, flight disruptions and they are responsible for finding suitable replacements for crew members who they are not able to make it to a certain flight. Here’s how it works. (Video by Nilanjana Gupta) https://lnkd.in/eACjGctj #airlinesandairplanes #aviation #airtravel

From high definition screens to luxury business class suites, from high speed internet access to an AI-powered travel app with the potential to 'transform the digital travel experience' as the go-to planning and booking platform, the #Kingdom's Saudi Group is redefining what it means to be an airline of the future. It has just announced 'the largest-ever aircraft deal in Saudi aviation history': 54 A3230neo for SAUDI AIRLINES as well as 12 A320neo and 39 A321neo aircraft for #fcc flyadeal. The deal was announced at the third Future Aviation Forum event being held in #Riyadh. Given the pressures on capacity and ticket prices that remain stubbornly upwardly mobile, this is welcome news for passengers travelling to and through the Middle East and hoping for some relief from the rampant 'shrinkflation' that has blighted our chocolate bars and our air travel. #travelcompanion #aviationnews #futureaviationforum #faf24 Saudia Group Airbus The Aviator Middle East
