The vAirify project is building a dashboard for exploring differences between CAMS air pollution forecasts and in-situ measurements. For those who don't know what that means, the great minds 🧠 behind #Challenge16 are building a product that will regularly poll platforms such as OpenAQ and compare actual readings of the air quality around the world 🌍 to the CAMS forecasts. 1moThis will be a great tool to access and visualize the CAMS data. I would suggest also to develop tools to retrieve (fast) and plot time series interpolated at a given point. This should be possible for the forecasts, but also for the past forecasts and reanalysis, in order to develop ML based high precision forecasts for a given location, eventually leveraging local measurements.
