Joint assistance to animals affected by the war in Ukraine! Dear friends and colleagues! I would like to ask you for your help in an important and urgent matter. The Russian invasion is taking place in Ukraine, which leaves behind not only human casualties but also terrible consequences for defenseless animals. I am a co-founder of the «Paws of Hope» charity foundation, which works directly with animals affected by the conflict. Hundreds of stray dogs, cats and other animals are in danger because of the war, and they desperately need our help. Our foundation is actively working on the front line, providing medical care, shelter and necessary care to the affected animals. However, our efforts are limited by limited resources, and we depend on kind-hearted people like you to raise the necessary funds to continue our life-saving work. Here are some ways you can help: 1. Communities In Schools of Ohio is doing really amazing and necessary work. According to the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the suicide rate among Black youth has “risen faster than in any other racial/ethnic group in the past two decades, with suicide rates in Black males 10 to 19 years old increasing by 60%.
