My career journey has been a diverse one – navigating the intricacies of banking to embracing the dynamic landscape of Service Industry. A pivotal point in this evolution has been my pursuit of the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification, reshaping not just my skills but how I approach challenges. In banking, precision and structured plans were the norm. My decision to move to the Service Industry brought the need for adaptability, and the CSM certification became my compass in this sea of change. Unpacking the Scrum values – openness, commitment, focus, courage, and respect – wasn't just a lesson; it was a shift in perspective. These values are now woven into my professional fabric, guiding how I collaborate and navigate complexities. The CSM certification process wasn't a mere checklist; it was a hands-on exploration of Scrum roles, Sprint Planning etc. In short understanding the bigger picture and new ways of working Transitioning to agile ways of working became second nature. In the ever-evolving landscape of technology and education, agility isn't just a methodology; it's a way of responding to change, fostering collaboration, and consistently delivering value Implementing Scrum practices in Service Industry projects has yielded tangible results – enhanced collaboration, superior product quality, and increased stakeholder satisfaction. As I reflect on this journey, I carry these lessons forward, ready to apply them in whatever comes next. I would personally like to thank our coach Madhavi Ledalla for sharing her valuable knowledge and experience. #readyforthefuture #skillupgrade

As a results-driven Principal Backend Software Engineer & Solution Architect, I design reliable, scalable, and secure system architectures to address customers’ daily business challenges.
In the midst of reorganizing my library, I stumbled upon a cherished hallmark of my professional development - my Certified Agile Practitioner certificate from the RBC Agile Center of Excellence, dated back to 2013. Reflecting on the past decade, the Agile principles have been the bedrock of my approach to project management. My commitment to these methodologies extends beyond mere terminology; it is evidenced in the successful deployment of projects that have thrived on adaptability, early value delivery, and a collaborative ethos. The certification was more than a milestone; it was the commencement of an enduring journey towards excellence in the technology sector. Leveraging Agile practices, I've contributed to the refinement of processes, the fortification of team dynamics, and the realization of tangible successes in software development. As we navigate the dynamic terrain of technology, I remain an advocate for perpetual learning and agility. I welcome dialogue with those keen on exploring the implementation of Agile frameworks or exchanging insights on industry best practices. #Agile #ProjectManagement #SoftwareDevelopment #Certification #ProfessionalDevelopment #AgileMindset

Hi family, Been a while. So this week in my advanced product design class, we are working on project management where the class is introduced to project management methods and it tools focusing on Agile methodology. We were split into teams and tasked to work as a scrum team using any project management tool of our choosing and of course, trust me to excel in this task being a certified Scrum Master. 😉 We were asked to nominate a Scrum Master, a Product Owner and the rest fall into the dev team. Naturally, you would think I would be the Scrum master right? Wrong 😅 , I was nominated to be the Product owner because not only am I a certified Scrum Master, but I have also had basic training as a product manager. After we had deliberated on a product idea, with my knowledge of Product management I was able to come up with user stories and their acceptance criteria representing our MVP because there was no time to come up with a PRD. I also briefly explained the Scrum events, values, roles and accountabilities to my team's understanding. Together with excellent collaboration, my team accomplished its task and I feel so proud to have worked with such brilliant minds. Finally, I am proud of the woman I am today, having invested a lot in my journey of growth and seeing how I excel in every area. 😊 A certified Scrum Master, a badass Product Designer, and a somewhat Product Manager 😅. #ProductDesign #WTFC24 #WomenTechstersFellowship #WomenTechsters #AfricanWomanInTechnology #Tech4Dev #ScrumMaster #GrowthJourney #TechInnovation #LinkedInCommunity 🚀

PMP people!... My future colleagues :) How do you think new approaches are affecting the way projects are carried out? For example, many industries consider being agile, but not necessarily with agile principles, they just want to get results faster. Quite different, right? #pmi #pmpcertification #pmp #agile #predictive #project
