🌟 How do you encourage and embrace DE&I within local manufacturing site? 🌟 In a local manufacturing plant, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) goes beyond gender, nationality, and religious beliefs. It encompasses generations, family backgrounds, cultures, and various perspectives. #GenerationalDiversity: Each generation brings unique experiences, viewpoints, and skills, enriching our work environment. Understanding and appreciating these differences can lead to more innovative solutions and better team collaboration. #FamilyBackgrounds: Recognizing the impact of family upbringing on individuals helps create a more inclusive workplace. By celebrating diverse family backgrounds, we nurture a sense of belonging and support for all employees. #CulturalDiversity: Different cultures bring varied perspectives, traditions, and problem-solving approaches. Embracing this diversity fosters creativity, enhances communication, and drives business growth. Encouraging a culture of openness and respect for all cultures allows us to harness the power of diversity for success. When we embrace and value differences in generations, family backgrounds, and cultures, we create a vibrant and inclusive environment where varied perspectives and ideas flourish, leading to greater innovation and collaboration. To truly foster DE&I, we must create an environment where freedom of expression and open discussions are encouraged. This leads to positive conflicts that spark innovative solutions. Central to this is building a culture of #trust where everyone feels psychologically safe to share their ideas. Processes and tools should empower every employees to collaborate and contribute to problem-solving. Let’s strive for a workplace where every voice is valued and every perspective is heard.🌍🤝 #Diversity #Equity #Inclusion #Trust #Collaboration

Diversity Day. Yes. Apparently, yesterday was "Diversity Day" in Germany ... whatever that is supposed to mean. People were posting rainbow cakes, photos of a happy group of people with different skin tones, smart-a*se panels of wonderful people talking ABOUT others, ABOUT a theme they had no idea whatsoever about ... and other items to celebrate themselves. All hippi-häppi-happi superficial meaningless click-bait stuff, without substance. Nothing new here. So here's the thing ... Diversity in society, in organisations is about us ... you and me. It's about people ... among all life. Diversity ... the existence of Difference. #ItReallyIsThisSimple. It really is time to stop talking ABOUT people ... especially those we don't know. It really is time to start doing things, living life WITH one another. We live with one another. We work with one another. What if we start start Dancing WITH one another? ... physically and in conversation. This is the cultureQs Approach, that I have been using ... successfully ... with groups since long before I had the idea for cultureQs. It's highly effective, it's highly enjoyable, it enables people to meet one another as human2human. It's all about cultivating quality relationships WITH one another. You can do this too. Anyone can. Contact me to find out how. #Diversity #Inclusion #culture #cultureQs #Relationing #DancingWithDiversity

🌐 Digital World Café: Dos and Don’ts as an Ally 🌐 Yesterday, on German Diversity Day, I had the privilege of moderating an inspiring breakout session during the Digital World Café at Drees & Sommer. We delved into the essential Dos and Don’ts of allyship, focusing on creating an inclusive environment for everyone. Here’s a recap: 🚀 Education is Key: Take the time to educate yourself about LGBTQIA identities, gender expression, and sexual orientation. Reliable sources and books can help expand your knowledge. 🚀 Show Empathy and Listen: In our fast-paced digital world, genuine listening and empathy matter. Let LGBTQIA individuals share their experiences without interruption or judgment. Seek to understand their perspectives. 🚀 Respect Pronouns: In today’s interconnected era, respecting pronouns is essential. Use correct pronouns when communicating with LGBTQIA colleagues. If unsure, politely ask rather than assuming. 🚀 Offer Support: Solidarity knows no borders. Actively inquire how you can contribute—whether through attending events, supporting LGBTQIA organizations, or simple everyday gestures of solidarity. 🚀 Amplify Voices: Use the digital landscape to amplify LGBTQIA voices. Share their stories and messages to raise awareness and combat discrimination. ⚡ Avoid Stereotypes: Refrain from relying on stereotypes. Recognize the diversity within the LGBTQIA community and avoid making assumptions based on clichés. ⚡ Respect Privacy: Never out someone without their explicit permission. Privacy matters, and outing should always be the individual’s choice. Let’s continue fostering an inclusive workplace where allyship thrives! 🌈💙 #DiversityAndInclusion #Allyship #DigitalWorldCafe #Inspiration #BlueIsBoundless Markus Weigold | Larissa Souza de Carvalho | Sarah Mohrdieck | Sara Bihler | Ralf H. | Rebecca Nieuwenhuis
🌍✨Today, 28 May, is German Diversity Day! Did you know that, according to a survey, May is the Germans' favourite month? The month of May is also the European Diversity Month. And the Charta der Vielfalt e.V. traditionally calls for a German Diversity Day at the end of May. We are happy to join in! Last year, on this day, we signed the Diversity Charter, the largest employer initiative for diversity in the workplace in Germany. This year, we are happy to invite all interested Dresos to the "Digital World Café". Instead of coffee and cake, we organized interactive sessions in English and German. Following the motto "From Dresos for Dresos", internal experts presented a colorful mix of aspects related to diversity and inclusion - from allyship to the Human Library. The aim was to encourage exchange, learn from each other and celebrate diversity in a way that will have an impact far beyond the month of May. #DiversityDay #ChartaDerVielfalt #EuropeanDiversityMonth

“Diversity is being invited to the party. Inclusion is being asked to dance." - Verna Myers In today's fast-paced world, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) are more than just corporate buzzwords—they're fundamental to creating a vibrant workplace. Recently, during our DE&I month celebrations, we hosted an internal panel discussion that delved into trends, benefits, and real-life instances. What struck me most was the fact that DE&I is not about fancy seminars or cool sounding perks (although they are good to have!). It is about truly believing in its power with every fibre and keeping it real - Really equal opportunities, rights & duties! At Versuni, we prioritize DE&I because we understand that diversity isn't just about numbers—it's about creating an environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute their best. By nurturing an inclusive culture, we not only attract top talent but also build a resilient organization that mirrors and serves our diverse global community. Let's continue championing DE&I together to drive excellence and foster a workplace where every voice is heard, and every individual can thrive. #Diversity #Equity #Inclusion #WorkplaceCulture #EmployeeEngagement"

Diversity. For some, it's just an empty concept; for others, it's a corporate obligation they don't understand. At Grinity, we approach #diversity in our way, but it's one of our core values - what's more beneficial than when everyone brings something new and different to the table? In May, we delved into the theme of generations to celebrate this year's #EuropeanDiversityMonth. Each generation is different and offers a unique perspective on the world. What is typical for each generation? And how do people contribute to the #teamspirit based on this? Listen to the short stories of our colleagues from the Prague office. #consultancywithpassion

Happy Cultural Diversity Day from TCO International! Today, as the world celebrates #CulturalDiversityDay, we at TCO International are reminded of the rich tapestry that people from diverse cultures bring to our global community. Our mission, "We help people choose to change," is deeply intertwined with the principles of embracing and fostering diversity. Diversity isn't just about recognising differences but about understanding and learning from them. At TCO, we believe that every interaction is an opportunity to grow and evolve. We help organisations and individuals not just to adapt but to thrive in diverse environments by working with cultural differences as a source of innovation and strength. Today, let's pledge to: ✴ Celebrate the various cultures that brighten our workplace and communities. ✴ Learn something new about a cultural group different from our own. ✴ Commit to being intercultural activists in making change happen, by promoting inclusivity and respect in every space we occupy. As we celebrate today, let’s remember that diversity is the engine of invention. It inspires creativity and creates the conditions for innovation, allowing us to solve problems and meet challenges together. Let's stay curious about - rather than judge - this diversity, today and every day. “If cultural diversity is neither recognized, understood, acknowledged nor discussable, how could it possibly be appreciated, valued and utilized?” - Andre Laurent Join us in starting exploratory conversations around cultural diversity for the other 364 days in a year. Together, we can create a more inclusive world. #DiversityAndInclusion #ChangeMakers

🌟 Our first ever Open Heart Conversation was such an incredible opportunity to fully immerse in a room filled with trailblazers and disruptive thinkers. It was such a beautiful energy! Thank you so much to Susanne Kruger, Tatiana Rueff, Clara Vincenc-Cismaru, Jewel Ifeguni, Elizabeth Rosner, Martina Bossi, and Sarah Baker for your participation! Key takeaways: 🌈 DE&I Matters: The resounding consensus was that Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) remains pivotal. In particular, the emphasis on Inclusion has never been more critical. It's the cornerstone for nurturing employee experience and well-being, which are paramount for 2024 HR initiatives. 💡 Elevating the Conversation: Through our dialogue, we discovered the importance of boldness in questioning norms and assumptions. To advance DE&I, we recognized the necessity of daring to ask provocative questions, challenging entrenched beliefs, and fostering an environment where diverse perspectives are valued and embraced. Let's continue these conversations and actions! Join us for the Beyond Comfort Zones DE&I Real-Talk Summit on March 8th!! In this training we will explore the common DE&I pitfalls, rewrite the narrative around DE&I, and offer insightful case studies with practical frameworks that organizations can emulate to achieve tangible progress.
