Dynacare Insurance Solutions (DIS) ventured deeper into the artificial intelligence space through a strategic partnership with DigitalOwl to transform the underwriting process for Attending Physician Statements. The powerful platform is capable of automatically reading, understanding, extracting, and analyzing 50-500-page statements accurately and quickly. The outcome is a summary of only a few pages that focuses on the critical information required by underwriters and insurance companies.   To date, DIS has confirmed that this unique platform can reduce the processing time for underwriters by up to 70%, allowing them to make better decisions more quickly while shortening the cycle of assessment for a policy. Elle produit un résumé de quelques pages seulement, qui fournit les renseignements essentiels requis par les souscripteurs et les compagnies d’assurance.   Il est désormais prouvé que cette plateforme inégalée peut réduire de jusqu’à 70 % le temps de traitement par les souscripteurs, ce qui leur permet de prendre de meilleures décisions plus rapidement tout en raccourcissant le cycle d’évaluation pour l’obtention d’une police d’assurance. September marks Sickle Cell Awareness Month to draw attention to this inherited blood disorder where the body does not produce enough of a protein, called hemoglobin, that is a crucial part of red blood cells. It’s estimated that 1 in 4 Ontarians belong to an at-risk ethnic group (coming from Africa, the Mediterranean basin, the Middle East, the Indian sub-continent, Asia, the Caribbean, and South and Central America) for hereditary blood disorders. Many people may be unaware that they are carriers because they are healthy themselves, but they can unknowingly pass on the gene, and potentially a very serious or lethal blood disorder, to their children. These individuals should consider screening by first visiting their primary healthcare provider who can arrange a standard blood screening that can be completed at any Ontario Dynacare Laboratory and Health Services Centre. https://lnkd.in/ddz56TP ----- Septembre est le Mois de la sensibilisation à la drépanocytose, ce trouble sanguin héréditaire caractérisé par une sous-production par l’organisme de la protéine appelée hémoglobine, élément essentiel des globules rouges. Dynacare is proud to be part of the group demonstrating leadership in improving the health and wellness of Ontarians. Best practice guidelines in Ontario regarding how iron deficiency is identified have been adjusted. It is now raised to 30 micrograms per litre for adults and 20 micrograms per litre for children. This new baseline will alert Ontarians, who are not feeling well with symptoms such as low concentration and fatigue, and their care providers that they may have an iron deficiency. Dynacare is implementing this best practice effective immediately.
