Ready to be shocked? ⚡ A record 62 billion kg of e-waste was generated globally in 2022, averaging 7.8 kg per person per year, according to the Global E-Waste Report of 2024. What's even more concerning, only 22.3% of this e-waste was formally collected and recycled in an environmentally sound manner. ♻️ Since 2010, the growth of e-waste generation has outpaced formal collection and recycling by almost fivefold, highlighting the urgent need for action.
