Highlights: - The collaboration will enhance Matter technology in Japan, integrating it with ECHONET, a regional smart energy standard. - DSR will contribute its wireless IoT expertise to add ECHONET Lite-compatibility. - The Matter hub will be compatible with devices from most makers, filling the market void - Expands on the "mui Platform," the first Matter-certified smart home controller in Japan. - Designed based on Calm Technology principles to create restful living environments by keeping tech unobtrusive. - This partnership provides provides brand-agnostic interoperability and a seamless user experience worldwide. We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with Juganu, a leading provider of smart lighting solutions, to deploy their units in our ecosystem. This marks the company’s first full smart city lighting deployment in the United States. Juganu’s smart lighting solutions eliminate the need for multiple devices on one light pole, with multiple solutions in one unit across environmental sensors, LED lighting, IoT framework for additional solutions, Wi-Fi access point and more. Juganu’s solutions will be deployed across the Town Center and the Curiosity Lab Innovation Center, adding another layer of safety and comfort to residents and visitors. Today, there are already 16 units deployed at the Tot Lot, 4 at the Dog Park and 6 units at the Innovation Center. Residents and visitors can already benefit from free public Wi-Fi in these areas.
