Recent studies from Lund University have shown that one in four Swedish hockey players in the top two leagues has a contact allergy. A less discussed but equally important issue is the occurrence of rashes caused by hockey equipment. And now for the exciting part... Thanks to the remarkable results DRYE has delivered to glove users in Frölunda HC and across Sweden, SICO has invited DRYE to showcase our gloves to the SHL (Swedish Hockey League). Did you know that it takes 30,000-50,000 liters of water to produce one kilogram of cotton? 💧 Cotton gloves are used worldwide, especially in the clothing and fashion industries, where warehouse workers unpack clothes daily. Dirt, sharp edges, and other factors make the wearer use cotton gloves with grip. Together with Hanna Abrahamsson & Wargön Innovation, we are now testing the DRYE glove with a new grip, which can be washed and lasts between 3 and 12 months, with the aim of replacing cotton gloves. In summary, we can help employers worldwide in the textile and fashion industries save millions of liters of water by switching to the DRYE glove.
