In many countries, this June was filled with Pride activities to create and strengthen awareness on topics around the LGBTQ communities. 🫶 And The Rainbow Team offered a range of activities for colleagues around the company at Dr. Oetker, too. 🌈 We have been delighted to welcome the public speaker Jude Guaitamacchi, who talked about LGBTQ in workplaces, allyship and the importance of pronoun visibility. Many colleagues from around the world joined this virtual session and have learned more about gender diversity and its dimensions in depth. The Dr. Oetker Content Factory team has also created a colourful Pride Flag – cake. Get to know our offices 📍 When Eastern Europe opened up to Western companies, Dr. Oetker successfully returned to the Czechoslovakian market in 1991. In 2024, we are celebrating the 130th birthday of Dr. Oetker vanillin sugar and cooked pudding. 🙌🥳 Dr. August Oetker expanded his product range with these products in 1894, having already launched the baking powder Backin the previous year with great success. By now, we have successfully installed photovoltaic systems at 14 of our subsidiaries, spanning from our sites in Germany, to Lebcz in Poland, and Kaharani in India.🔆 The solar panels installed on the roof of our plant in Johannesburg in South Africa are able to produce more than 30% of the energy requirements on site. 🌍 By 2030, we want to reduce our carbon footprint in all direct and indirect areas of influence by 35% and be completely climate-neutral by 2050.
