Unlock insights on Downtown Raleigh's progress in our newly released Q2 2024 Market Report 🏙️ Highlights – 🛍️ 15 new storefront businesses opened downtown in Q2 with a further total of 37 new openings, expansions, or relocations in downtown so far this year. 🚶 Downtown Raleigh had its best month for visitation since the pandemic in June with 1,873,602 visitor visits, an 8.8% increase year over year (Placer.ai). 🏗️ There are 17 developments under construction, which when completed will deliver 1,811 residential units, 410 hotel rooms, and 137,266 square feet of retail space to Downtown Raleigh. 🏘️ 419 residential units have delivered so far in 2024 with 1,811 additional residential units under construction across 9 development sites. 💼 Downtown Class A office space in Q2 has a direct vacancy rate of 14.0%, the lowest of any submarket in the Triangle, with 53,643 square feet of net absorption year to date (JLL).
