“Make no mistake, he’s in that glass box for doing nothing more than being a reporter and he needs to come home.”
Dow Jones EVP and General Counsel Jason Conti joined Fox and Friends this morning to discuss the illegitimate trial of The Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich, and the urgent need to fight back against autocrats who detain citizens as bargaining chips.

Including fighting back against a wannabe autocrat who claims he is the only one who can have a detained citizen, held as a bargaining chip, released. One has to wonder whose side he is on.
An excellent interview with Jason Conti (Jay). He and his team have worked tirelessly to bring Evan home and will not rest until they do. A hugely respected member of the Dow Jones Executive. #istandwithevan

Were you aware that the Chief of the Capitol Police’s testimony concerning the events of January 6, 2021 has >>**NEVER BEEN HEARD**<<?! Isn’t that strange? Don’t you think that, just perhaps, he may have something that might be of interest to those who would like to uncover **THE TRUTH** about what happened that day? Unless, of course, they don’t want to actually uncover the truth, they just want to reinforce the narrative.
But, of course, WE KNOW that they would never want to do that, right? Of course we don’t live in a world where people do things purely for the purposes of gaining ever increasing power and doing everything possible to retain that power; OF COURSE we don’t live in a world like that. Our government officials are good people who simply serve their constituents, they would NEVER do something like sit on Committes where they can directly influence policy decisions for industries and then trade stocks using the information that they have about upcoming policy decisions to make millions when the stocks of those companies tank. That would NEVER happen.

Good, it is time,
Title: The State of Our Nation's Capital: A Call for Reflection and Reform
In the heart of our nation, Washington D.C., a disconcerting reality has taken root. It's a reality characterized by a political landscape that seems increasingly fractured, with allegations of corruption, insurrectionist sympathies, and fervent cult-like following of certain political figures, such as Donald J. Trump.
This is not a critique of any one individual or party, but rather a call to reflect on the state of our democracy. It's a call to question how we've reached a point where our political discourse is so polarized, where allegiance to individuals often seems to supersede commitment to democratic principles and the common good.
The accusations of crooked politicians and insurrectionist sympathizers are symptoms of a deeper issue. They reflect a system that appears to be broken, a system that seems to prioritize personal gain over public service, and divisive rhetoric over constructive dialogue.
But it's important to remember that our political landscape is not an immovable object. It's a reflection of us, the people. And just as we have the power to elect our leaders, we also have the power to demand better from them. We have the power to advocate for transparency, accountability, and integrity in our political system.
So, let's start a conversation. How can we work together to heal the fractures in our political landscape? How can we ensure that our leaders represent our best interests, rather than their own?
