Last month, Romanian President Klaus Iohannis visited Doosan Enerbility's headquarters in Changwon.
⚡ Romania is building a 462MW SMR power plant at the location of a decommissioned coal-fired power plant in the country.
🏭 To ensure the sccess of the project, the Romanian President visited Doosan Enerbility's SMR production facility.
👇 Find out more about Doosan Enerbility's SMR capabilities which Romanian President has also inspected.

Whoever builds SMRs for commercial operation will dominate the vast upcoming energy market needed to meet Net-Zero by 2050. I believe Doosan Enerbility and NuScale Power have significant potential and a technical competitive edge to make this a reality. Cheers!
This is a really proud and nice achievement! well done Doosan go Doosan!! and it is Nice to See vice-chairman Young-in jung!! it has been a while Sir!!

Brazil’s first power transmission tender of 2024 attracted 18.2bn reais (US$3.65bn) in investments, as all 15 lots offered were acquired.
The main winners were Eletrobras Eletronorte, EDP and FIP Development Fund Warehouse (BTG Pactual), with four, three and three lots won, respectively.
As a result, there will be more than 6,400km of new transmission lines passing through 14 Brazilian states, with an increase in transformation capacity of 9,200MWA.

The heads of Ansaldo Energia and the Kazakh state electricity company, Fabrizio Fabri and Kairat Maksutov, have signed an agreement to implement and launch new combined-cycle power plant projects in Kazakhstan, including the reconstruction of the Almaty CHP-3.
Recent years have seen many new gas power plants being built and plant renovation projects in Asia, especially in countries along the #BeltandRoad. Therefore, GTF2024 organizes a special forum focusing on Belt and Road Overseas Cooperation.
This forum will conduct an in-depth policy analysis of relevant countries and identify their needs and demand for industry development. By doing so, enterprises can tap their advantages in meeting these needs, and propose suitable partnership strategies that are beneficial to both parties, to open up a new situation of cooperation.

First power!
We’ve finalised the installation of our flagship offshore turbine, the V236-15.0 MW, in the Port of Thyborøn in the northwestern part of Denmark.
Today, the turbine successfully produced its first kWh of power – a crucial step in our final verification campaign. We are ramping up serial production before starting the installation of the first offshore projects featuring the V236-15.0 MW turbine.
Seeing is believing as they say! One very significant point to highlight here is not simply the 30-to-1 ratio of WiFi access point to cellular access points needed to cover this area, it is the operational impact of having to deploy the 30x increase in supporting infrastructure (ducting, cabling, switch ports, mounting structures etc) which actually makes the WiFi option untenable for all but the most die-hard WiFi supporters. The good news is WiFi and private cellular networks happily co-exist and compliment each other, and roaming is virtually seamless. With vendors like Apple and Zebra now making private cellular support standard fare in their devices, Enterprise adoption is booming.
Getting reliable connectivity around a refinery is a major challenge given the sprawling area. Lack of reliable connectivity leads to increased labor cost and the inefficiencies associated with paper and pen data gathering.
Image below shows what it takes to cover a refinery approximately 260 football fields. It would take approximately 300 Wi-Fi Access Points to do so. With Celona 's Private LTE/5G Solution , we are able to cover the same area with just 10 access points! and it can be commissioned in just a few weeks providing reliable coverage throughout the facility.
Don't miss joining Stefan Garrard from bp , Andrew von Nagy from Celona and myself for an exciting panel discussion on Oct 12, 8 AM PDT , where we will discuss the connectivity issues, its business impact and how Private Wireless is changing the landscape with reliable, secure connectivity at sprawling refinery campuses.

Trans-Caspian cable of the Turkic states
If it is so difficult to build a gas pipeline along the bottom of the Caspian Sea, then why not implement an underwater electric cable?
Today, the energy ministers of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan at the Tashkent International Investment Forum signed a memorandum of cooperation on interconnection of the countries’ energy systems.
The document involves laying a high-voltage cable along the bottom of the Caspian Sea with the aim of exporting electricity from Central Asia to Azerbaijan and further to Europe.

In Australia there is a big take up Lithium batteries for MHE. But are there any other zero emission options? Yes, Hydrogen.
Plug has introduced a plug and play Hydrogen fuel cell replacement for your existing electric MHE. They have developed these for all major MHE suppliers. One tank of Hydrogen lasts a full shift and a refill takes less then 5 minutes.
While initially there is a large investment for the Hydrogen supply tank at the DC and the pump infrastructure, it does make sense for warehouses with more then 100 trucks. The real benefit would be having the infrastructure built in from the beginning for a multi warehouse terminal.
