Last month, we had the exciting opportunity to attend the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago with 50,000 restaurant industry professionals. So many of the conversations there reflected insights from this year’s DoorDash Restaurant & Alcohol Online Ordering Trends report: - 86% of consumers order on third-party apps at least 2X per month. - 33% of consumers actively seek out local independent restaurants in their area. - 40% of consumers are using alcohol delivery more than last year. - Menu selection and pricing are the top priorities for consumers when choosing new restaurants. - 30% of Gen Zers who use social media to find new restaurants prefer TikTok.
