Celebrating 13 Years of Innovation at California Science Technology University (CSTU)! I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Qin, the visionary founder of CSTU, as we marked the university's 13th anniversary. 🌱 Thanks for sharing NYSE; In my opinion, the work of Sirish Subash, Minula Weerasekera, and William Tan on the 'Pestiscand' concept, developed for the 3M Young Scientist Challenge, effectively addresses a crucial public health issue: the presence of pesticide residues in food, which can have harmful long-term effects on health. Beyond simply reducing pesticide use, it is vital to promote the consumption of products free of plastic residues as well, (I’ll be delighted to hear more about Plasticscan soon). By aligning innovations like "Pestiscand" with broader sustainability initiatives, we can address both chemical exposure and environmental impact simultaneously. This integrated approach will help us move toward a safer and more environmentally responsible food system, ultimately benefiting both public health and the planet.
