We support the LGBTQ community, promoting acceptance, respect, and equality for all, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation. We value and promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace, and we operate a zero-tolerance policy for any form of harassment. Treating people with dignity and respect at work is our guiding principle. A workplace where all are treated fairly, accepted and included equally so we can all benefit from the different talents, experiences and perspectives a diverse team offer and the individual contribution employees make. This Pride Month, we celebrate inclusion, diversity, and the courage to be oneself. As leaders, we have the unique opportunity—and responsibility—to create a workplace where everyone feels safe and valued enough to bring their whole and truthful selves to work. To foster this environment: 🌈Establish Clear Anti-Discrimination Policies: Make sure your policies are explicit in protecting LGBTQ rights. 🌈Support LGBTQ Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) 🌈Offer Inclusive Benefits: Ensure your benefits package respects all identities, including transgender-inclusive health care and parental leave policies. 🌈Promote Continuous Education: Host workshops and trainings that educate and sensitize the workforce on LGBTQ issues. Be an advocate for not only celebrating diversity but actively promoting it. Encourage authenticity, and watch as your team's morale, creativity, and productivity soar. 🌈 #PrideMonth #InclusiveLeadership #DiversityAndInclusion

"Companies should provide LGBTQ -inclusion training that supports their IE&D policies. Training should go beyond a basic education on the many identities within the LGBTQ umbrella. It should provide practical advice on how to be mindful of unconscious biases and not make assumptions about colleagues, their partners and their family circumstances. Training should also offer guidance on how to call out inappropriate and harmful behavior and language, harassment, slurs, and stereotypes, as well as offer advice on how to avoid misgendering and deadnaming workers."

It’s such a joy to see an organisation that you were associated with and had a humble role to play once has come a long way in a short span. To me, this is the ripple effect of when genuine intent meets action to form long lasting impact. Thank you #providence for making what was once a vision a reality today. Kudos to everyone involved in making this safe space for the #lgbtqcommunity and #allies. I fondly recall our first authentic & open conversation on #lgbtqinclusion at Providence was with Ankita Mehra Tushar Sood (He/ Him) & Kulsum M. where lots of folks walked out with tears in their eyes and empathy in their hearts. To Kulsum M. Tushar Sood (He/ Him) and every single person behind this force- thank you for being the torch bearers and creating that safe space for the many there. I have Ankita Mehra Harsha Ravikumar Jayant Iyer Arun Pandey @debbie Deepthi Sirla Suresh Ramdas (He/Him) for collaborating with me out of pure trust. Look at what your voices & active advocacy have help transform. Pallavi Singh (She-Her-Hers) Madhulika Vedula Preethi Ramnarayan Murali Krishna and so many more folks at #providence to thank for their allyship on behalf of the #lgbtqcommunity. This truly speaks of inclusive leadership, collaboration and doing right by people. Lessons in DEI: 1)For those who think Inclusive leaders & DEI professionals have it easy: No they don’t. It takes a lot of hard work to create such space among pressing business priorities and peer judgement. 2)For DEI leaders who constantly struggle to make bigger impact with each attempt, this is testimony that even the smallest start has rippling effects and gets carried forward in due course of time. We do not have to have all the aspects under our control. Have faith, be patient and open to sometimes just giving the little nudge and letting time do its magic. 3) IT TAKES ALL HANDS ON DECK TO BUILD AN INCLUSIVE WORKPLACE. Yes, then entire village to build one. Happy Pride - it’s never just a month and always work in progress. #proudmoments #DEIimpact #inclusiveleadership #DEIleadership #pridemonth #lgbtqinclusion #activeallyship #allyshipinleadership

We’re proud to celebrate Pride Month, a time to honor and champion the LGBTQ community. When we bring together different backgrounds and perspectives, we spark innovation. True inclusion means creating spaces where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. At Sama, we strive to embody these principles every day. 👇 How can we achieve this? 1️⃣ Promote awareness and education: Encourage open conversations and provide resources about LGBTQ issues. Awareness leads to understanding, which is the foundation of an inclusive culture. 2️⃣ Create safe spaces: Foster a culture of respect and understanding where every employee feels safe, respected, and able to be their authentic self without fear of judgment. 3️⃣ Support and empower: Actively listen to feedback from LGBTQ employees to understand their needs and challenges, ensuring their voices are heard and valued in shaping company culture. Inclusivity is not just a month-long initiative, it's a sustained commitment to understanding and embracing the unique experiences of each individual.

🌈✨ Honoring Pride: A Journey and a Commitment ✨🌈 Pride Day is more than a celebration; it's a reflection of a powerful history of resilience, love, and equality. It all began on June 28, 1969, with the Stonewall Riots—a turning point in the fight for LGBTQ rights. Today, we celebrate Pride to honor the trailblazers who fought for the freedoms we cherish. In the workplace, let’s turn Pride into action. Here’s how we can keep the spirit alive: 🔸Inclusive Spaces: Create safe, welcoming environments where everyone feels valued and respected, regardless of their identity. 🔸Diverse Voices: Amplify LGBTQ voices in meetings, decision-making processes, and everyday interactions. 🔸Continuous Learning: Offer and participate in diversity and inclusion training all year long. Knowledge is power! 🔸Celebrate Year-Round: Recognize LGBTQ milestones and heritage throughout the year, not only in June. 🔸Support & Advocate: Support LGBTQ colleagues by advocating for inclusive policies and practices within and beyond the workplace. Together, let's make every day a step forward in the journey of love and equality. 🏳️🌈💼✨ How have you celebrated Pride in your workplace this month? Pride Month is a vibrant celebration of LGBTQ identity and history. However, it's also a critical time for organisations to reflect on how they can be genuine allies, not just during June but year-round. Here at DiversityProject, we believe allyship goes beyond performative gestures. Let's explore some actionable steps your organisation can take: - Go beyond the logo change: While symbolic gestures are a start, true allyship requires more profound commitment. Invest in LGBTQ employee resource groups (ERGs) and provide resources for ongoing education and training on LGBTQ issues. - Champion diversity in hiring: Proactively recruit LGBTQ talent and create inclusive hiring practices beyond traditional pipelines. - Promote inclusive benefits: Ensure healthcare plans and parental leave policies are inclusive of LGBTQ families. - Speak out against discrimination: Have a clear zero-tolerance policyfor discrimination and ensure safe reporting mechanisms for LGBTQ employees. - Amplify LGBTQ voices: Spotlight and celebrate the achievements of LGBTQ employees throughout the year. By taking these steps and committing internally and externally, we hope all our members can build an even more inclusive and open workplace where LGBTQ and allies talent can thrive. Let’s champion LGBTQ inclusion not just in June but every single month! #WhatWorks #PrideMonth #LGBTQInclusion
