Etihad Airways welcomed more than 1.4 million guests onboard and saw its passenger load factor average out at 84 per cent across March. Dubai is great for Emirates Airline, and Emirates Airline is great for Dubai. On my latest flight from DXB, I flew on an Airbus A380, as many of us do. The aeroplane, renowned as the world's largest passenger airliner, is a double-deck, wide-body, four-engine jet known for its spacious and luxurious cabin. It has revolutionised long-haul travel with its advanced technology and exceptional comfort. I did a search to see how Emirates Airline compares with other airlines, and this blew my mind. Although exact numbers aren't known, Emirates Airline is considered to have over 100 A380s, compared to Singapore Airlines, which has the second largest fleet, with about 14 — this might be an underestimate, but it’s many times fewer than Emirates Airline. What Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Tim Clark, and Adel Al Redha are achieving at Emirates is quite remarkable.

Abu Dhabi Airports, the operator of the Emirate's five airports, has released its exceptional passenger traffic results for the first quarter of 2024. The travels of more than 6.9 million passengers were facilitated through the Abu Dhabi Airports' network from January to March 2024, marking a robust surge of 35.6 per cent compared to the same period in 2023, when figures reached 5.1 million. All the airlines in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), whether they are full-service or budget carriers, have been recognized as among the world's 20 safest airlines in 2023. According to AirlineRatings, flydubai, Air Arabia, and Wizz Air were listed among the 20 safest low-cost airlines, while Etihad Airways and Emirates were acknowledged as some of the safest full-service airlines. Other budget airlines on the list included AirAsia, Allegiant, Air Baltic, easyJet, Frontier, Jetstar Group, Jetblue, Indigo, Ryanair, Scoot, Southwest, Spicejet, Spirit, Vueling, Vietjet, Volaris, and Westjet.
