Are you planning an event, trade show, festival, concert or exhibition? Or are you a service provider working on any of the above? Don't forget about the logistics! 🚚 Smooth transportation in particular is crucial for success. At FTL Transport we have actively provided transportation services to a large number of events around Australia at some of the largest venues including ICC Sydney, Melbourne Convention Centre, Sydney Olympic Park, MCG and the GABA. Here are some tips in selecting a transport company to ensure success for your next event: 1. Define your needs: Have a clear outline of your transportation requirements including equipment needs, trailer types, specialist equipment handling, and most importantly time slots and site accessibility. 2. Research potential providers and assess capabilities: It is best to select a transport company that has experience in handling similar types of events and a track record of successful operations. Some transport companies may over promise and under deliver. This could be costly and detrimental to the success of your event. 3. Communication is key: Choose a transport company that communicates openly and is responsive to your needs. Ensure that they keep you informed of any developments or issues that may arise. 4. Consider flexibility and customisation: Make sure your transport provider offers flexible solutions tailored to your events unique needs. This may include ensuring they have the resources and expertise accommodate for any last-minute changes or special requests. Are you looking for a transport provider to help with your next event? Reach out to discuss your needs! Stockholm Arlanda Airport inaugurates Marketplace With the new #Marketplace, #Stockholm Arlanda's passengers will have a new range of commercial offerings, including #restaurants and #shops. A total of 40 concepts will be opened from this autumn to 2025, in several stages. A total of 120 procurements have been made for Swedavia's airports to a procurement value of Skr10bn (US$910m). Swedavia AB CEO Jonas Abrahamsson said, "Sweden's need for exchange with the rest of the world will always be great, and that requires a strong #StockholmArlanda. A strengthened commercial offering is not only important for the passenger experience – it also contributes significantly to our ability to maintain competitive airport charges. "At #Swedavia, we are proud that today we have the great pleasure of officially inaugurating two milestones in the development of Sweden's largest airport, our new security checkpoint and the first phase of the new Marketplace. Together, they contribute to a markedly improved experience for Stockholm Arlanda's passengers." https://lnkd.in/eZ6DFvFz

The latest edition of our customer magazine Drive is out! (You can read it here: https://lnkd.in/eZkJy4Jf) As always, this Drive is filled with a varied set of stories about our services, our customers, our drivers, and our destinations. In other words: all kinds of facts about our family business. Personally, we always find the interview with one of our relations to be one of the best contributions in the magazine. These interviews show what it is all about: strengthening each other, working together proactively, and going the extra mile when necessary. In this edition, you will find an interview with our client NIDRAC bv about the - not easy - job of delivering 'baggage sizers' to all Transavia destinations, from Oslo to the Canary Islands. "We were not a number like other parties, but a customer. That helpfulness was exactly what we needed at that moment," says Nidrac director Luc Nieuwland in the interview. That makes us happy because that's what we do it for! In another regular feature, the country story, our colleagues talk about how we are already actively preparing to meet the challenges for the period surrounding the Olympics - when half of Paris will be on lockdown - and, for example, continue to supply Foot Locker shops on the Champs Elysées. "Even logistics is sometimes top sport," says colleague Khalid el Youzghi. This Drive also includes a nice portrait of our driver Septimiu Oltean and articles about our new office in Romania and the expansion of our services with International Parcel Service. In short: we will once again inform you in detail about the dynamic experiences in our organisation. Happy reading! #vanduuren #Drive #magazine #logistics #familybusiness #deliveringyourpromises
