💡⚽️ Insight of the week ⚽️💡 DAZN's free broadcasts of the UEFA Women's Champions League has increased viewership and sponsorship interest, according to a recent survey by DAZN. The broadcasts also increased knowledge of women players and interest in attending women's matches, while positively changing views of the women's game for some viewers. Clubs and players also benefited from increased revenue and sponsor interest, and the experiment is expected to help the UWCL reach its financial potential - the commercial value of European women’s football could reach $698M in 10 years.

Messi dribbles football & Apple/MLS League increases footfall When you are a brand you drive things on the field and also off the field. Messi has recently signed up for the Major League Subscription ( MLS) this has surged the ticket prices, merchandise and streaming subscriptions. What has this led to ::: - Streaming package had 6000 subscibers and now they have 110,000 subscibers - 15% of MLS pass holders have taken AppleTV subscribers. - Messi gets a cut from the new subscribers to the MLS . As the media is terming this as Messi effect , the streaming services of AppleTV flourishes . Some of the key takeaways are :: - A good and a consistent sportsmen can move the market it can be technology, entertainment, economy. - Any company ( new or old ) can catapult with right associations. - Ripple effect :: Messi plays for Inter Milan and Inter Milan has tie up with Major League Subscription( MLS) . The top 5 leagues in aggregate TV revenue are: 1️⃣ The Premier League: €3.029bn 2️⃣ LALIGA: €1.462bn 3️⃣ Bundesliga International GmbH: €1.048bn 4️⃣ Lega Serie A: €1.022bn 5️⃣ LFP - Ligue de Football Professionnel: €500M 🏅 Noteworthy is the dominance of English football clubs in the broadcasting revenue rankings, with 18 out of the top 20 clubs hailing from England.
