As a Deli Lead, you will be responsibility for ensuring all aspects of the deli activities are efficient and all activities adhere to relevant safety and health codes, and provide support and guidance to the deli team members Critical Success Factors In order to be successful, the individual in this position demonstrates that they possess the following. Solid Professional Experience: You have a minimum of one year working in a similar environment. Our ideal candidate will also have a minimum of one year of experience in a similar/like role. Strong Customer Service: You know what it takes to foster strong customer relationships and consistently utilize these skills to satisfy and delight customer requests that encourage repeat business and customer loyalty. Strong Leadership Skills: You consistently model professional behavior and provide on the spot coaching and training to employees in a way that strengthens their individual skills and the strength of the overall team. Detail-Oriented Strategist: You're able to focus on the small details while keeping your eye on the bigger picture. Multi-Tasker: You are prepared and able to handle multiple requests, questions, and concerns simultaneously and you naturally prioritize which item needs to be resolved first. Strong People Skills : You absorb and process what you hear and see quickly and communicate relevant information in a manner that is readily understood by the intended audience. Solution Oriented : You receive feedback about your behavior and performance in a professional manner and effectively work to solve the challenges that were brought to your attention. Change Management: Though you're able to see the quickest way to solve a problem, you also understand that change takes time and you exhibit an appropriate level of patience when making change. Linguistic Abilities : You're able to write, read, speak, and understand English. Dependable: You are consistently on time and prepared for your shift. You follow the appropriate procedures to communicate call outs. You provide a strategy for the deli Team for call outs. Essential Job Functions Ensure the deli venues are opened, operated, and closed properly. Provide effective and on-the-spot coaching to employees. Work venues and support deli team members with deli roles and effectively perform the functions of that venue when needed. Ensure that all deli work is done in accordance with, and adheres to, company guidelines as well as state laws and regulations. Proactively rotate deli items to ensure product sold is of the highest quality. Work in conjunction with deli employees to ensure that breaks and lunches are covered in a manner that doesn't negatively impact deli coverage. Work in conjunction with deli staff to stock
