On a day like this, as we begin the grind for the week, I am reminded of the choices I have made, the choices that have brought me to this point and at every thought, I am grateful.
Not because I never made any wrong choice (believe me I have made so many), but I have learned from my amazing journey through life that regret has no benefit, not one and so I wouldn't dwell there.
It is true that many times, our identities are shaped by the choices we make, and so when we make bad choices they can affect us in little or great ways depending on the weight and consequence of such choices. Even then, it doesn't mean everything is lost when we make one bad choice.
However, it's good that you limit the number of bad choices you make in one lifetime.
To do that, one thing you should know is that you don't have to make those choices alone. Seek guidance from seniors and mentors where necessary. Express your challenges to them and let them help you make that big choice.
This week, align yourself with people who have insight into the things you wish to do and have made choices similar to the ones you wish to make, let them direct you. Let them inspire you into taking the right steps.
Today, once again I am excited about the choices I'll be making in the coming days as I round up pathology and pharmacology class (if you know, you know) and take on new challenges.
I wish you all the best as you make those amazing choices this week. I wish you luck.
Happy new week.
