It’s been a busy few weeks I’ve been here, there, everywhere at congresses but there are some takeaways that are common amongst all three I’ve been to: 📚- Being a healthcare professional is HARD WORK. And let’s be clear this is not me being condescending. I honestly don’t know how they keep up with all the new science and data ✈️ - Getting to these congresses is time consuming, expensive and that’s just my from my perspective. Doctors are out of clinic, sometimes self-funding the travel, making them inaccessible for most 🤝 - The amount of doctors I saw bumping into each other, catching up, meeting in person for the first time highlighted to me how important congresses are for building and fostering relationships 🔬🧪🧑🔬 - Pharma is relentless in its research and development to meet unmet patient needs/strive for cures or better outcomes. Its awe inspiring - please keep pushing! No sales-y post here. Just admiration for an industry that is full of inspiration and innovation. Wherever you sit in healthcare, be proud of what you contribute! 📣We welcome the launch of the EDiHTA Horizon Europe (project)   Professor Dalia Dawoud, associate director of the Science, Policy and Research programme at NICE, commented⬇️   “Digital health technologies, including those that use artificial intelligence, are set to play a major role in treating and managing health conditions for the remainder of the century.   The speed and evolution of their development is unprecedented which is why a universal framework for their evaluation is needed.   The knowledge derived from creating NICE’s Evidence Standards Framework will play an important role in this important European project, alongside the learnings we have made from conducting early value assessments of digital health technologies.” #EDiHTA
