United States Department of Defense’s Post

The National Background Investigation Services system -- meant to transform the process of conducting background investigations – will be a key component in reforming the personnel security process and establishing a single vetting system for the federal government. NBIS was set to replace similar systems in 2019, but the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) has struggled to get it up and running. The DCSA’s new director, however, said that’s going to change.

And how many taxpayer dollars have been spent on the "struggle to get it up and running"? And how many more will be needed for that "change"? And since it is a federal program, how many years will it take to get past the "up and running"? When (if) completed, will the system be capable of obtaining background information on those from countries who keep no records? Will US taxpayers fund programs for those countries to develop records? Many ????s.

It doesn't mean you are right, negative entries must be disputed and erased!

This system has been broken for at least 25 years that I personally know of. DIS, then OPM had it, then DSS, private contractors, now DCSA. Always behind, always changing teams in the middle of the stream and always doing restart, could that be the reason. Just asking

Perhaps we can tell the public what happened during the OPM (America’s Crown Jewells) Hack by the CCP, and how and what damages this created, how we fixed it, if we did, and how we are going to make sure it never happens again?
