The Life Science Barometer 2024 is now live! As an annual initiative by SwedenBIO, the Life Science Barometer aims to gauge the pulse of the life science sector. This year's survey boasts record participation from 200 companies nationwide, making it the most comprehensive report to date. The Life Science Barometer 2024, produced by SwedenBIO in collaboration with Medicon Village, Sahlgrenska Science Park, Stockholm Science City, STUNS Life science and Citeline, promises unique perspectives absent in previous statistics. Some key highlights from the report: - Medtech constitutes the largest segment, encompassing 61 % of the life science sector. - Research and development is the primary activity among small and medium-sized enterprises. - The majority of companies are privately owned. - Financing stands out as the most significant concern for companies.
