Last week's meeting at the Rotterdam Science Tower was a landmark event for Delta Diagnostics and our partners. The purpose of this gathering was clear: to explore the innovative potential of our label-free biosensing technology and to strengthen our commitment to making this technology widely accessible. We are driven by a mission to democratize biosensing technology, ensuring that researchers from institutions of any size and funding level can benefit from our advanced solutions. Our photonic integrated circuit-based biosensors represent a leap forward, offering high-throughput, multiplexed, and label-free detection capabilities. This technology stands to change the way researchers approach biosensing, making complex analyses simpler, faster, and more cost-effective. Our distributor partners joined from across Europe, each bringing their unique perspective and expertise to the table. Claus Dall Larsen from LABLAB Aps (Denmark), Peter Blom of XboXLab AS (Sweden/Norway/Finland), Urs Wegmann and Malika Mühlebach from LABFORCE (Switzerland), and Josef Uskoba from iBiotech (Czech Republic/Hungary/Slovakia) all shared their insights on how we can better support them and tap into the opportunities presented by our biosensing technology. The discussions focused on collaborative strategies to enhance distributor support and to navigate the challenges of bringing sour tech to scientists. Our collective vision, "Enabling More For Less," highlights our commitment to breaking down the barriers to advanced biosensing tools, ensuring that these innovations are accessible to all researchers. It was a greatr step forward in a shared journey towards transforming biosensing technology and ensuring that every researcher has the opportunity to explore and discover without limitations. #photonics #biosensing #lifesciences

Making organ transplants more accessible. In a nutshell - that's the goal. Artificial blood made with nanoparticles and the machine which simulates the body keeping organ alive for hours, weeks, months. That would be awesome! This (more less) is what NanoGroup S.A. with Prof. Tomasz Ciach started many years ago. Continuing painstaking research making it bigger-than-life mission Wojciech Frąckowiak is leading the team of young and ambitious researchers to make this vision true. A4BEE joined the quest helping with moving invention towards innovation. From R&D towards medical product. From research towards global commercial availability. We are just starting, but the journey is already rewarding. This week together with Julia Zakrzewska, Maciej Gaik we were presenting the #nanOX system commercialization journey during internanopoland conference. Spreading the word about polish science and engineering ingenuity. Keep your fingers crossed as we are on a mission to transform transplantology. #meaningfulInnovation #invetion #innovation

🌟 Exciting Research Collaboration Alert! 🌟 We are glad to announce that Simão Santos from Lammertyn lab ( Department of Biosystems ) started a 3-month research stay at the Interfibio group under the supervision of Dr. Ciara O' Sullivan and Dr. Vasoula Skouridou. During this period, Simão will be working on groundbreaking projects to develop RPA assays and nucleic acid-based lateral flow assays (NALFA) aimed at detecting female-specific genes in allantoic fluid. His work will focus on: 🔬 Optimizing RPA reaction parameters 🔬Designing tailed primers for NALFA 🔬 Refining the assay to work with minimal sample and buffer volumes Once fully developed, the NALFA will “suit like a glove” the SIMPLE microfluidic chip Simão has been developing during his PhD, paving the way for a fully autonomous microfluidic platform for in ovo sexing. We are excited to see the innovative advancements that will come from this collaboration. Best of luck, Simão! 🚀 #Research #Innovation #Collaboration #Microfluidics #Biotechnology #InOvoSexing

Behind the scenes - the foundation story of 2bind and NanoTemper Technologies‘ role in it. Way back in 2008, NanoTemper Technologies unleashed a powerful biophysical tool: MicroScale Thermophoresis (MST, or TRIC as it is called now). This incredible tech let scientists detect molecular interactions fast, precise, reliable and in solution. But here's the twist: not everyone could own this cutting-edge instrument. Recognizing the need for broader accessibility, in 2011, 2bind was born, as spin-off from NanoTemper and in partnership with Gernot Längst from the University of Regensburg. The new CEO Thomas Schubert's mission: give people access to biophysical tools. There is the need for instruments and there is the need for services. While NanoTemper focused on crafting high-quality instruments, 2bind provided top-notch biophysical analytical services. This idea worked well! The synergy propelled 2bind into a hub of biophysics expertise. In 2016, NanoTemper stepped back, allowing us to thrive independently. In 2017, I joined as Chief of Operations and together we brought over 20 skilled scientists to the team as well as a compelling toolkit of 13 biophysical technologies, not just the suite of NanoTemper Technologies (PANTA, Tycho, nanoDSF, Dianthus, MST/TRIC), but other great formats from Dynamic Biosensors, Malvern Panalytical (Creoptix), Sartorius, and others. A large and diverse set of assay formats now allows us to operate fully results-driven and provide customized biophysical solutions to support our clients' drug discovery and other development programs. We are happy about the valuable technology and testing partnership between 2bind and NanoTemper Technologies. And thanks to Philipp for his recent visit - as always, a pleasure to have you here! #biophysics #molecularinteractions #innovation #partnerships

We're absolutely thrilled to see the arrival of a first-in-class instrument at the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) – a device capable of taking rapid and sensitive luminescence reads with PCR heat block thermal control. Finally, we have a dedicated instrument to enable our real-time cellular thermal shift assay (RT-CETSA) and enable it's use in target-ligand interaction assays in early-stage drug discovery pipelines. We're excited about the potential discoveries and improvements to the drug development process this technology will bring. You can see our paper detailing the method here: https://lnkd.in/eB_UMu8R A huge thank you to everyone on the team who made this possible, especially the team at Arimation Robotics for creating this streamlined machine. Also thankful to the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) Advancing Innovation through Mentorship program for providing the training and platform to identify this unmet need for instrumentation. I cannot wait to see what comes next 🙌 #CETSA #innovation #LabEquipment #science #drugdiscovery #drugdevelopment
