What I’ve always wanted to know and see proof of is ‘do sales increase when customers get to select where a brands impact goes?’ We’ve all seen the studies and claims telling us that consumers would be willing to spend more if a brand supports social & environmental initiatives. But is that intention reflected at the checkout? The reason I’m so passionate about this is because if Klean - Sustainability for Retail can prove our tech increases revenue for brands, this would also accelerate positive outcomes for our community & planet. That’s why I’m stoked to see these results from our partner brands using impact@checkout. AOV increases up to 67% when a customer selects an impact project, versus no project selected. There is still more we can learn & improve on, such as it’s correlation with a brands average UPT and explore other patterns we are seeing.
