EHW RECAP After many months of preparation and hard work for the European Hyperloop Week, we finally presented all our findings, designs, and our system! We are thrilled to announce that we are the first organization to perform a scalable Hyperloop lane switch without moving elements! Additionally, we are very proud to have won several awards at EHW: the Technical Full-Scale Award, the Infrastructure Award, and the Thermal Management Award! The team is incredibly proud of our accomplishments in Delft and Zurich. A huge thank you to all our partners for making this incredible journey possible! PREPARATIONS FOR EUROPEAN HYPERLOOP WEEK With the European Hyperloop Week approaching, our track is now complete, and pod testing has begun. To make this possible, we transported our team, track, and equipment from Delft to the Switzerland Innovation Park Zurich. Moving a track that weighs over 20 tons, includes 300 fastened anchors, and that has a length 50 meters, was quite a logistical challenge. We couldn’t have done this without our logistical partners. Thank you to: - Ewals Cargo Care for transporting our track, pod, and all our equipment. - Hexagon's Building Solutions, Medir International B.V. and Interboor Midsland B.V. for drilling and aligning the track’s foundation. - Donselaar for providing the enormous, weatherproof tent that protects our track. We’re excited to demonstrate our scalable and lane-switch compatible pod, Helios III, at the demonstration day next Saturday in Zurich. Excited to announce our collaboration with Schweizer Design Consulting GmbH! This year, we embarked on an ambitious project to integrate a Hyperloop station with Schiphol Airport. While we tackled significant logistical challenges, we also designed the passenger experience. We are thrilled to have had the expertise of Schweizer Design to guide us in making bolder design decisions. Their team used Blender to design the benches, gates, tables, and shops. They also contributed innovative ideas for the outer shell of the Hyperloop tubes. In addition, Schweizer Design played a crucial role in finalizing our renders, which gained widespread attention and coverage in the Dutch media. Working with such talented designers has been an invaluable learning experience. We are thrilled to have collaborated with Studio KU on the physical model for our Hyperloop Station Schiphol design! The model's exceptional finish and meticulous attention to detail perfectly capture our vision. Working with KU has been an amazing experience! Their passion, skill, and professionalism truly elevate their craftsmanship to an art form. The design of our station consists of multiple levels: logistics, departure and arrival. Despite the station's density, Studio KU managed to show all three levels perfectly in relation to each other. This helps people to truly understand how our station works.
