🚀 Wrapping up my first week at Estlea Creative Ltd., and I'm pumped to share our progress! We've been firing on all cylinders, and here's the lowdown on what we've been up to: 📈 New Ways of Doing Things: We've come up with some cool new approaches that are making our work smoother and more efficient. 🏢 Warehouse Makeover: We've expanded our warehouse space, giving us more room to handle all the cool stuff we're working on. 🗂️ Office Revamp: Our office got a makeover, and now it's a super comfy and inspiring place to work. 🎯 Short-Term Goals: We've set some exciting goals for the near future that we're super stoked about. 📝 Top Priorities: We've sorted out what's most important so we can stay focused on what matters most. 😄 Light-hearted Moments: And yeah, had a good laugh at Matt for misplacing his wallet! 'Random Coffees' 🤔 What are they? Did you actually go on one - this photo looks somewhat edited 😅 Today, I got to have a Random Coffee with my colleague Mike Davies. We took 30 minutes away from the office to talk. We spoke mostly about running - Mike knows lots and I had a load of questions (Fartlek? 'Kenyan Hills'? Marginal gains? The six World Marathon Majors?) - and our time as Employee Trustees at Stephens Scown having served our terms at different times in our Employee Ownership journey. I forgot to take a photo because the conversation was so good, so Mike was happy to pose in the office instead 📷 Being able to step away from the office environment to get to know our colleagues more personally (and professionally but with less of a service delivery focus) is so beneficial to our ongoing professional relationship. We're all humans, and being to engage with someone on a human level, not just on a service-provision level, helps us to build trust with them and feel more personally fulfilled through the work we do together. I think Random Coffees are a great initiative from my business. In the last few months I've also had them with Karen Stamp, Isabella Kershaw and Kia Pearson 👋 Do others get similar opportunities encouraged by their businesses?
