The announcement of Datavant's multi-year collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a substantial step forward for the life sciences industry in achieving a goal of seamless data discovery, assessment and access. Three big problems we're trying to solve together: 1. Low/no data mobility - the more data changes hands, the more likely you are to have a lapse in preserving the privacy of a sensitive record. This collaboration aims to eliminate that friction point 2. Time-to-value - while data liquidity continues to increase, the process/time needed to explore and identify data sources to satisfy specific use cases across drug development continues to be a huge bottleneck. This effort aims to substantially improve the identification and access of the 500 real world data sources in Datavant's ecosystem 3. Building a one-stop-platform to provide end-to-end data delivery of curated, privacy-preserved datasets We're looking forward to changing the model as we deploy these solutions together!
