Dear Recruiters, In the bustling landscape of digital evolution, the role of a Graphics Designer stands as a beacon of creativity and visual storytelling. It's a craft that breathes life into brands, communicates ideas through imagery, and creates memorable experiences. Today, more than ever, there's a fascinating blend of expectations when hiring for a Graphics Designer. Beyond the realm of designing captivating visuals, there's a temptation to seek a polymath—a tech-savvy wizard who masters video editing, UI/UX design, and even dives into the coding depths of CSS, Java, Laravel, Python, and tools like JIRA. Yet, let's pause and ponder. Graphics Design is an art form, not synonymous with video editing or coding. While proficiency in related skills is valuable, it’s crucial to recognize the unique skill set and perspective that Graphics Designers bring to the table. They're the architects of brand identity, the maestros of visual communication, and the guardians of aesthetic appeal. In our quest for versatility, let's not dilute the essence of what makes a Graphics Designer exceptional. Let's celebrate their ability to transform ideas into compelling visuals, their knack for understanding brand narratives, and their unwavering dedication to crafting designs that resonate. To all the aspiring Graphics Designers out there—your creativity is your superpower. Embrace it, hone it, and continue to push the boundaries of visual expression. And to the recruiters seeking Graphics Designers—look for the magic in their portfolios, the stories in their designs, and the passion that fuels their creativity. Remember, you're hiring a visionary artist, not Elon Musk. #GraphicsDesign #Creativity #VisualStorytelling #DigitalArt #Hiring #Recruitment #BrandIdentity #DesignThinking #digitalmarketing #Aasimkhan

In 2020, I graduated as an Electronics and Telecommunication engineer and began my career as a QC Engineer at an elevator manufacturing company. Although the job provided stability, I quickly realized it wasn't fulfilling. Many advised me to switch to IT, but coding wasn't my passion. I always wanted a job where I could use my love for sketching, painting, and creativity. I used to sketch and paint papers from childhood, so I sought a career that aligned with my passions. One day, I discovered UI/UX Design and felt an instant connection. I taught myself the necessary tools, completed a freelance project, and thoroughly enjoyed the process. Encouraged by this experience, I decided to quit my QC job and pursue UI/UX Design full-time. It wasn't easy. I faced unemployment for four months, and many questioned my decision. Despite attending 2-3 job interviews daily, opportunities were scarce. But I persisted, believing in my passion and skills. Eventually, I landed a job as a graphic designer at an ad agency. I proved my worth and skill, but the pay wasn't sufficient. Again, people questioned my choices, comparing it to my previous job. Undeterred, I continued interviewing for new roles. Today, I'm proud to share that I'm working as a Creative Designer at Sony Pictures Network. The same people who once questioned my decisions now look up to me. 💪 My journey taught me the importance of following your passion and believing in yourself, even when others doubt you. If you're considering a career change, trust your instincts and keep pushing forward. #CareerJourney #PassionToProfession #CreativeDesign #UIUXDesign #NeverGiveUp

Graphic designer | Work on 200 projects | Branding | Social Media Marketing | Logo Design | Freelanceing Services
Hey Folks! Hope you're doing good. So I am here to talk about a few things that mostly remotely graphic dssigners hate it. 1. Full time Job with low budget salary. 2. The unpaid test during interviews specially difficult and time taking ones after showing your portfolio too( The mind be like ohh why unpaid test I already show you my portfolio what I did or what I can do) 3. Time tracking tools but with screenshots I mean why? Time tracking is ok but screenshots and 24/7 recording your screen is just a waste. 4. The companies who didn't even reponse after applying for a job but some companies give a quick update even they don't hire us but we start following them because if this sweet gesture. 5. Hiring remotely but looking for someone who is from their city. I mean why just post a hybrid jobs to save alot if time of designers out there. 6. Last but not the least is, Hiring a graphic designer with HTML Or python Experience ( please don't mix up things Designers are designers not programmers) Pov: If you face issues like this please comment below and share your story.

Chief Strategy Officer at Fireart | Helping tech brands build, launch, and grow faster through design and development expertise on demand.
You waste 8 hours a week on hiring designers. In these 8 hours, you could: - Learn to perfectly mimic 5 different bird calls - Map out the entire Game of Thrones family tree - Focus on product-led growth and boost your $$$ Let's do a breakdown. 1. Building an in-house design team is not effective when: - Your project scope keeps changing - You lack the expertise to hire top talent - You are restricted by budget constraints - You can't provide continuous professional growth 2. If your business: - Wants to avoid hiring full-time staff - Demands a variety of design expertise - Needs constant innovation and stay ahead ... don't focus on: - Hiring a full-blown internal design team - Short-term cost savings for freelance designers - How hiring a senior designer will solve all problems 3. Instead, consider: - Access to a diverse team with a broad skill set - Direct impact on your product's user experience - Flexibility and scalability of an external powerhouse - Proven track record of success in various industries - Case studies showing real results and transformations Here's the reality: "We want to build the perfect in-house design team." I hear it all the time but rarely see it achieved. Skip the trial and error. Drop me a DM if you want to partner up with a team that elevates your product from day 1.

Freelance Graphic Designer | B2C Branding, Digital & Print Media Specialist | Aspiring UI/UX Designer
How much is too much when it comes to knowing tools? As designers, we’re expected to be creative problem solvers, but lately, job requirements seem to expect us to be a jack of all trades and master of every single one. Why should a graphic designer be required to know Python or JavaScript? How does it make sense for a UI/UX role to demand 3-4 years of experience in graphic design? The market is competitive, sure, but where do we draw the line? When does “being versatile” turn into an unrealistic checklist that pushes talent away rather than attracting it? It makes you wonder: are we designing, or just chasing skill sets? Thoughts? #jobmarket #designskills #graphicdesigner #uiuxdesigner #recruiting #creativeindustry #reality #jobsearch #careerseekers #jobseekers
