You can start throwing your tomatoes right now, but I totally agree with MrBeast on his approach to integrating branded content into his #content. "And they're gonna just say, "45 seconds, here's what you say. Take it or leave it." And it's pretty brutal because I think, just in general, if brands were more accommodating to let creators tell their story of the brand and talk about the brand in a way that felt a little more natural, I think it would be... A, it'd be less cringe. People would be less likely to go, and... Tap, tap, tap, skip. And obviously, it would convert better. But they're just so afraid and they want this standardized thing" https://lnkd.in/gdkfjNH7 There is a HUGE difference between your own content and brand integration into somebody's content, especially if they are famous for it, and if people spend their precious time and attention there. These creators know their audience, probably better than some brand managers know their consumers, and they know the best way to integrate your brand. I had such an experience with #Fruttis and integration into KlikKlak (Russian group of creators) content, and the results were fascinating: with a limited budget, we played it as a medium coverage #campaign with double-digit growth in engagement and #brand image metrics. And here are my learnings: 📌 If you want to play it safe, go the traditional way; don't approach big Creators. 📌Give key do's and don'ts to the Creator (but don't give them an exact scenario or wording). 📌The creative agency could act as a controller here, NOT the Creator; otherwise, it will create conflicts. 📌Prepare your management team in advance; they should be fully aware of the content this creator is producing, and they should be okay with it.
