#BNCUpdate: Top Consultant to Lead Kuwait International Airport Expansion   Kuwait International Airport (KIA) poised for a significant transformation with a comprehensive five-year upgrade project aimed at elevating the airport's status to a premier global aviation hub. The initiative, spearheaded by Kuwait's Directorate General for Civil Aviation (DGCA), will enhance runway capacity, expand cargo facilities, and improve infrastructure to meet future demands. A renowned consultancy has been appointed to oversee the design and construction supervision. Oman’s civil aviation sector is rapidly progressing towards ambitious goals outlined in the country’s Vision 2040. Led by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the sector’s strategy emphasizes digital transformation, strategic partnerships, talent development, fostering investment growth, and enhancing aviation safety and security.

On International Civil Aviation Day, we take a moment to appreciate the pilots, aviation crews and ground staff who, like us, prioritise safety, efficiency and standardisation.  In lifting standards of efficiency, we provide land-sea-air logistics solutions, such in the Port of Salalah where we recently introduced a sea-air logistics solution for cargo moving from Colombo, Sri Lanka, to Cairo Egypt via Oman. This not only reduces transit times by an estimated 20-40% compared to traditional east-west trade routes but delivers cost saving of 10-20% compared to a pure Air Freight solution.  Our Out of Gauge specialist crews at Aarhus, Denmark, at Pier 400 Los Angeles and throughout the world are no strangers to getting aircraft to where they're needed, using their expertise to load and unload outsized cargo, constantly improving on out of the box thinking.  When it comes to safety, we go all out.
