The Danone Communities team had the honor of welcoming members of its community of committed ambassadors, in the presence of Antoine de Saint-Affrique Danone Communities relies on this community to promote its mission among Danone employees in France, enabling everyone to contribute to the fund and rally around Danone’s dual economic and social project. Over the years, this community has grown and attracted new engaged members, ready to give their time and passionate about our mission to support innovative business models that have a lasting impact on the health of vulnerable populations. A big part of this community, which now comprises more than 50 members with diverse profiles, united by their desire to take action without hierarchical ties, traveled from 13 factories and headquarters across France to Paris for the occasion. The focus of this June 4th event was: - Raising awareness on the social enterprises supported by Danone Communities and their impact on the health of millions of people. This included testimonials from 1001fontaines Vietnam (providing access to safe drinking water) and Lucky Iron Life (fighting against iron deficiency anemia), as well as insights from experts within the Danone Communities team. - Sharing tools to learn how to mobilize colleagues, facilitated by the association makesense, an expert in community building and collective intelligence. - Creating connections among these committed members who uphold Danone’s values. The day sparked new ideas for mobilization, encouraging each individual to take action at their own level and implement concrete initiatives. We kicked off the event with Antoine de Saint-Affrique, Danone’s CEO, who took the time to thank the ambassadors from all over France for their dedication. And the result of it all? Inspired, motivated, and energized ambassadors ready to make a difference and have an even greater impact on the health of as many people as possible! #socialimpact #internalengagement #businessforgood

So proud to be working at Danone🌍✅👭 Did you know? B Corp Certification is a designation that a business is meeting high standards of verified performance, accountability, and transparency on factors from employee benefits and charitable giving to supply chain practices and input materials. In order to achieve certification, a company must: 🌱Demonstrate high social and environmental performance by achieving a B Impact Assessment score of 80 or above and passing our risk review. Multinational corporations must also meet baseline requirement standards. 🌱Make a legal commitment by changing their corporate governance structure to be accountable to all stakeholders, not just shareholders, and achieve benefit corporation status if available in their jurisdiction. 🌱Exhibit transparency by allowing information about their performance measured against B Lab’s standards to be publicly available on their B Corp profile on B Lab’s website.
March is B Corp Month! At Danone, we're on a mission to inspire healthier and more sustainable eating habits, while upholding our commitment to operate sustainably and responsible . 🌍 We're thrilled to share that Danone’s businesses in the Baltics and Denmark became B Corp Certified last year, joining the already certified entities Sweden, Finland and Norway. The certification means that Danone Nordics & Baltics is one step closer to become a fully certified cluster, with the Aqua d’Or factory in Denmark the only remaining entity. This certification is a testament to our dedication to high social and environmental impact standards, as we strive to be a driving force for positive change. 💚 But here's the thing – our journey doesn't end here. Just because we reached the B Corp certification doesn't mean we're slowing down. The B Corp certification needs to be renewed every three years! We're committed to evolving alongside the world, adapting to new needs, and staying actively engaged in the community of B Corps that are propelling business forward. Join us on this incredible B Corp journey towards a better future. Together, we can create lasting impact and inspire positive change. 🚀 #BcorpMonth #Sustainability #PositiveImpact #DanoneJourney

Reflecting on Leaving Nestlé Health Science Taiwan: My Thoughts and Wishes As I approach one year since leaving the Nestlé Health Science Taiwan team, I want to share some thoughts and best wishes.Seeing the success of the Italian team with Meritene Mobilis has been inspiring. Their dedication to innovation and quality reminds us of the importance of these values. Here are a few takeaways: 1.Innovation and Quality: The Italian team's success stems from their commitment to innovation and quality. Let's strive for the same in Taiwan, investing in R&D to meet evolving health needs. 2.Education and Service: Offering educational resources and training, like the Italian team, will empower professionals to confidently recommend our products. 3.Customer Feedback: Emphasizing customer feedback is vital for improvement. Let's use it as a guide to enhance our offerings. Though I've moved on, my support for the team remains. Let's continue to excel and bring more health solutions to market. #NestleHealthScience #Innovation #Quality #ProfessionalDevelopment #MeriteneMobilis #Reflections #FutureGoalshttps

B CORP - MORE THAN A BADGE! Did you know that Danone is one of the largest B Corps in the UK & Ireland? We’re really proud to show how ‘better business’ can make a positive impact. And I’m really proud to work for a B Corp! At @Danone, the B Corp ethos is at the heart of everything we do – balancing purpose and profit so we can use our business as a force for good. There’s a whole number of ways we show up as a B Corp. Last year, for example, we announced our commitments around health, leading the way by setting firm standards to help ensure that people can access both healthy and tasty products. We also worked to improve the recyclability of our products – from removing the plastic on our Actimel bottles, to switching to tethered caps across our Alpro range. And we became an Includability Committed Employer as part of our ambition to foster uniqueness, inclusivity and diversity within our workplace. These are just a few examples, but our new B Corp Impact Report takes a look at exactly how we use our business as a force for good for our customers, people and the planet – as well as highlighting areas where we can do more. https://lnkd.in/dFZ8qccw

Nestlé to reduce workforce at its German headquarters - Nestlé is set to reduce its workforce at its German head office in Frankfurt, with plans to cut “slightly more than 100” staff out of the 1,500 currently employed. The company aims to streamline operations, make more focused decisions, and enhance collaboration within international structures for better market alignment. As part of this restructuring, Nestlé is in discussions with workers’ representatives to explore solutions such as retirement, part-time arrangements, and internal development opportunities for affected employees. The company’s statement highlighted the commitment to finding socially acceptable solutions and minimizing redundancies. Nestlé Germany reported net sales of SFr 22.1bn ($2.4bn) in... - https://lnkd.in/edHfzbVV
