The Danone Communities team had the honor of welcoming members of its community of committed ambassadors, in the presence of Antoine de Saint-Affrique Danone Communities relies on this community to promote its mission among Danone employees in France, enabling everyone to contribute to the fund and rally around Danone’s dual economic and social project. Over the years, this community has grown and attracted new engaged members, ready to give their time and passionate about our mission to support innovative business models that have a lasting impact on the health of vulnerable populations. A big part of this community, which now comprises more than 50 members with diverse profiles, united by their desire to take action without hierarchical ties, traveled from 13 factories and headquarters across France to Paris for the occasion. The focus of this June 4th event was: - Raising awareness on the social enterprises supported by Danone Communities and their impact on the health of millions of people. This included testimonials from 1001fontaines Vietnam (providing access to safe drinking water) and Lucky Iron Life (fighting against iron deficiency anemia), as well as insights from experts within the Danone Communities team. - Sharing tools to learn how to mobilize colleagues, facilitated by the association makesense, an expert in community building and collective intelligence. - Creating connections among these committed members who uphold Danone’s values. The day sparked new ideas for mobilization, encouraging each individual to take action at their own level and implement concrete initiatives. We kicked off the event with Antoine de Saint-Affrique, Danone’s CEO, who took the time to thank the ambassadors from all over France for their dedication. And the result of it all? Inspired, motivated, and energized ambassadors ready to make a difference and have an even greater impact on the health of as many people as possible! #socialimpact #internalengagement #businessforgood
