🌟process standardization 🌟 One of the most important things that a selection process can have is to be well standardized, which means that each stage really measures what it should measure and that the interviewers are evaluating the same characteristics. During my time at Nubank I helped standardize the hiring process for engineering, creating a complete guide for interviewers and hiring managers, this change positively impacted the funnel pass rates. Remember that a recruiter is an advisor for the business, not a delivery center. Proud and excited 💓. For real. I love the buzz, the mingling, seeing people laugh, make new connections, eat, drinks, talk, ask questions, raise curious eyebrows during the talks. 2. Nervous 🤦♀️. We always oversell tickets (when you do this for a while, you learn your lessons). And there is always a chance that...one day...one day...a LOT (or all) of people show up. Organising such events and having to think that you have a drop-off rate of 50% 🙀 and planning around it...is not easy. So we take the risk. Either way. It is a calculated risk. It would be great if we could always keep to our commitments. But there is this thing called: LIFE 🌏. I am guilty of signing up to things too 🙋♀️, just to pull out the last minute, cause I was just overwhelmed with life, or work, 3. Curious ❓. What will I learn this time? What is happening in the industry, who is who, who is doing what, why, where, how much... Every-single-time I learnt something new. Don't fool yourself thinking you know it all 😁. So, see you later 🐊. 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦? As I approach wrapping up my 4th year at Fetch 📦, I've been reflecting a lot on my time here and how my role with the company has evolved. At first, I started as your typical sales ops manager, whose job was to "simply" enable the sales team with top grade technology and surface insights as it relates to all things GTM. Fast forward four years, and now I hold the privilege of leading our RevOps, Client Success, and Business Development functions. Part of that growth can be attributed to the fact that I'm a bit of a workaholic, but most of it is attributed to the leadership team here fostering a culture where if you have big ideas, they empower you to take big swings. That being said, leaders can only go as far as their teams can allow them to, no matter how good the leader's ideas may be. So I wanted to show some much overdue appreciation to some of the people that made that possible along the way: Jhani Mcclain, Kayla Flinn, Colleen Eskins, Brittany Harm, Jonalei A., Hannah Geyer, Jacquez Jones, Charles Needham, Brandon Ferrar (would love for you all to read the document) Also, I couldn't not mention two awesome gents that made it possible for me to get where I am today. Matt Greene took a flyer on me and hired me to start off as that SalesOps Manager, he knew I had untapped potential that could help Fetch. Then Joe Summers, so much of my growth both in and out of the workplace can be attributed to our chats.
