Indian Railways has operationalized over 90% of its Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC), spanning 2,800 kilometres, with plans for further expansions. The 2024-25 Budget has allocated 3.4% of the GDP towards enhancing these National Corridors, signalling a significant leap in rail-freight logistics. This development offers a cost-effective and sustainable alternative to road transport, as rail logistics produce only one-third of the CO2 emissions compared to trucks. With the benefits of improved efficiency and environmental sustainability, it is an ideal time for manufacturers, exporters, and importers to embrace rail freight. #DahNAY #DahNAYLogistics #GrowTheNow #Logistics #FreightForwarders #EcommerceLogistics #Manufacturing #IndianManufacturer #RailCargo #Rails #budget #budget2024
