If you are managing the cybersecurity of Operational Technology (OT), here are your basic action items for this Monday: 1. Separate OT and IT networks. 2. Reduce exposure to the public-facing Internet. 3. Conduct regular cybersecurity assessments. 4. Change default passwords immediately. 5. Conduct an inventory of Operational Technology/Information Technology assets. 6. Develop and exercise cybersecurity incident response and recovery plans. 7. Back up OT/IT systems. 8. Reduce exposure to vulnerabilities. 9. Conduct cybersecurity awareness training.
