𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐭.👏 Employees shouldn't only be eligible for a raise or promotion during their end-of-year reviews. KBR understands the value of timely recognition. Raises, promotions, and spot bonuses are 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒅 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒆𝒅—whether it's Jan. 10th, May 18th, or Dec. 31st. Don’t get me wrong, I love seeing all these New Year promotions...but if someone has earned it, don't make them wait. 🧠👇Let me know your thoughts below! #RecognitionMatters #KBR

Receiving recognition not only helps you feel motivated and boost your performance, but it also helps you to show your dedication towards your work. This recognition became more valuable as it directly came from the Executive Vice President and Business Head Desk, which shows that you are on the right track and your efforts are valued by the stakeholders..!! Thanks to all my seniors, my colleagues, and the stakeholders for supporting me and helping me grow and learn new things.✨🏅 #Thankyou #bfl #bajajfinserv #HR #HRBP #career #Corporatelife #humanresource #2024award #Kudos

It's been more than a month eversince I started my Corporate Journey and this was one of the realisation I had based on my personal experience: If your job or profession allows you to end the day with a good and peaceful sleep, you're in the right place. The aim should not be just to earn handsome remuneration for the work you deliver but also to keep your headspace good and clear to have the ability to work better and take care of your well-being. What do you think? #thoughts #corporatejourney #sales #job #healthyworkingenvironment #LinkedInforThoughts

One of the main pillars of the Workforce Development Group's efforts to bring more aviators into the industry is outreach. We need to be in the consciousness of young people as they progress through school and start looking at their long-term goals. This is something we can all help with in our daily lives. We (technicians, at least) have a tendency to leave work at work, and so when we are interacting with friends and family, it isn't often a topic of discussion. However, if we believe our industry is valuable to society, then we have a responsibility to promote the work we do with those in our circles. Whether it's your own children, nieces/nephews, children of friends, or even in public settings like schools for a career day; we need to get out there an start talking about the importance of our industry and the rewards it has to offer.

👇 5 key mistakes you should avoid to secure the job! 👉 DON'T ASK FOR VACATION TIME: During your probationary period, it's important to demonstrate your commitment and dedication to your role. Asking for time off may give the impression that you're not fully invested in your job. 👉 DISPLAYING A NEGATIVE ATTITUDE OR LACK OF ENTHUSIASM: Negative behavior, such as complaining about tasks, showing disinterest, being unresponsive to feedback, showing resistance to change, complaining about colleagues or tasks can create doubts about your suitability for the role. 👉 FAILING TO MEET PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS: During your probationary period, your employer will assess if you're the right fit for the role. Failing to meet performance expectations can jeopardize your chances of securing a permanent position. 👉 BEING RESISTANT TO FEEDBACK: Use your probationary period as an opportunity to learn and grow. Be open to feedback from your manager and colleagues and demonstrate a willingness to improve and develop your skills. 👉 DO NOT ENGAGE IN UNNECESSARY FIGHTS WITH YOUR MANAGER: Avoid unnecessary conflicts or confrontations that could reflect negatively on your suitability for the role. Your probationary period is a critical time to prove yourself and secure your position within the company. By avoiding these six common pitfalls, you can increase your chances of success and make a positive impression on your employer. FT MBA Student | Ex Maruti Suzuki Regional Technical Manager | Ex Mahindra & Mahindra| Automobile Technical Expert | Business Development | Business Strategist | Driving Digital Transformation
News of Rolls Royce cutting about 2500 jobs didn't come as a big surprise owing to the companies performance in the last couple of years and how they were looking re-structuring their system. Such decisions are difficult for any organization as you are constantly evaluating the tradeoffs. In this case, the trade off could be losing your best performing employees to keep the system afloat. Similarly, an employee going extra miles to improve the ratings in appraisal by overlooking his work life balance is a tradeoff as well. Moving to another city for better opportunities while leaving your family behind is a tradeoff as well. Now, what is the valuation of such decisions ? I personally think that such decisions cannot be quantified but are taken on the basis of expected outcomes. #NCLMBA
