August marks the anniversary of HMS High Performwnce Solutions.
That’s my company by the way!
I never could have imagined how far we’d come. I wrote a plan. Made a strategy and went all in.
For those creating and executing plans, you will know the feeling of testing and pivoting along the way.
I’ve coached myself through the process, arming myself with the knowledge and lessons of others through reading and reflecting.
Here are three lessons, from the many I’ve learned:
1) Taking action today paves the way for tomorrow. Be grateful for what you get to do.
2) No feedback IS feedback. Learn in every situation by reflecting and asking for feedback. You get better by practicing, refining and progressing. No such thing as perfect.
3) People are amazing! The connections I’ve made on LinkedIn have been life changing! Thank you all - you’ve transformed my life.
As always, I sign off with:
Today is day one.

I've never posted... so here goes. Don't believe the hype you see about FedEx and the entire company as a whole. It's downsizing they fired 14,000 employees, yes i was one of them, all in 2 days. Yup you read that correctly. My opportunity was cut short and cut throat. No explanation, no nothing. Dead serious no explanation. Talk about shadyness.... I'm too old to be dealing with companies that are shady and don't function properly. Who have individuals in management that clearly don't belong. Corporate isnt corporate. Everyone has their own Ceo... like what???? Next: Management wonders why employees don't stay. Have they looked in the mirror and noticed , it's because of them. The poor communication; wrong decision making; conflicting directions; misinformation; lack of promotional support; lack of training, I mean really I can go on and on. But the fact that I wake up everyday is a blessing. The fact that I can do me regardless of what my last job did to me and be positive is... I'm greatly grateful for everyday. Period.
2024 has been transformative with the launch of C Squared Workforce Solutions, a boutique extended workforce consultancy. I've had the privilege of serving on several boards and am a fellow at The UWI. I've had the pleasure of learning from industry leaders and working with an incredible roster of clients.
What excites me most about the work C Squared does is the freedom to explore client challenges without being tied to preconceived outcomes. This intellectual freedom has been truly rewarding, allowing me to think creatively and accelerate positive impact for clients.
But it didn't start with a pleasant landscape. It started with a series of rocky moments, paved in traumatic events and professional darkness. (I wish this was a flair for the dramatic, but it really was pure sh&t). And I needed help from people that knew more than me. Big time. Two of the first ten people I went to when I was seeking clarity were Jeff Nugent and Bryan Peña, CCWP. I went to these two specifically because they are exceptionally bright, they know how to get anything to green (in this case, me), they love to innovate, and they are really good people of strong character. And they've proved it more than twice. It was with strength of their guidance that I ever found the courage to move past the yuck and into what has been an awesome professional year. I learn something every time I talk to them and that is true value.
This is why one of my most meaningful roles in 2024 is serving on the board of the Contingent Workforce Institute (CWI). Here, I collaborate with true pioneers who have shaped the extended workforce industry through technology and innovation, new ways of solving old problems, and who champion DE&I initiatives. This board is comprised of several people who I admire personally and professionally, whose advice started shaping my career decades ago.
Beyond the board, CWI has assembled a team of experts specializing in VMS services, contingent workforce program design, workforce strategy development, data analytics, and advisory services. This not only helps clients, but firms like mine can more easily scale with access to this type of resource. It is an honor to be a part of building something like CWI, and I can't wait to see the value we bring to market through this vital talent channel.
Feel free to reach out if you'd like to learn more.

Team ho to aisi ho.
Yesterday was my last working day at 3Pillar Global.
It was painful to finally leave the team I loved to be with.
But I celebrated these 2 years with a lot of learning, amazing experiences and mostly so much fun.
My 5 Myths about Software Company culture were debunked...
[1] Myth: Remote work with a 50-person team is not possible.
In Reality: The Team rocked it with #oneteam collaboration and grew together in a fully remote environment. They amazingly delivered in 3 different timezone.
[2] Myth: Your Manager is your boss.
In Reality: My managers were my greatest mentors. They skyrocket my career and growth. Thanks a lot, Pravesh Chhabra, Shiva Wahi and Kailash Shastri.
[3] Myth: Senior Managers are mostly coming from MBA backgrounds.
In Reality: My Managers were super tech-savvy coders, cloud experts and geeks :)
[4] Myth: Most of Org Policies were not helpful
In Reality: #3pillarglobal fully supports their employees to invest in their self growth, and training and even reimburse lakhs of rupees annually for their growth.
[5] Myth: Colleagues look supportive but competitive in general.
In Reality: I have found my support stars, and friends in my colleagues with whom I can share anything without much filter. I'll miss you all Tanay Dalmia, Salman K., Anuj Kumar, Harish Kumar
I was so lucky to be part 3pillar journey.
I'll cherish every part of it.
It was impossible without my dear teammates Amitesh Kumar, @rahul, Rajesh Kaushik, Vishal Chouhan, Sneh Verma, Himani Puri, Priyank Verma, Satnam Singh, Tanya Jain, Pushker Tiwari, Parakh Maheshwari, Jafar R., Darshika Gupta, Prateek Gupta, Vibha Rawat and many more wonderful people.
Cheers to 3Pillar Global.

One of CS Recruiting’s values is #BeCurious and last week our team took an hour to do just that! 💪
🧐 What did we do? We had three logistics and supply chain industry professionals (Tim Vickers, Phil Tambouridis, and Corey Lasky) talk to us about what they do, how their role impacts the industry, and how they got to where they are today!
Our team got to learn a lot and had the chance to ask questions to get a more in-depth understanding. 🧠
Now our question to you: how do you (or your team) #BeCurious? Let us know in the comments below! ⬇️

For this week's #TalesOfTredencians, the spotlight is on Nancy Suri.
She complements her high-paced sales role with the calming ritual of drawing mandalas. This creative outlet fuels her passion and brings harmony to her daily routine. Discover more about her unique journey at Tredence.
❓What excites you about working at Tredence?
💡The sheer energy and innovation at Tredence are electrifying. I’ve had the chance to work closely with the founders and senior leadership, who are not only brilliant but genuinely committed to guiding others. Plus, seeing all the teams come together to tackle big challenges with such commitment inspires me to give my all, too.
❓What is one common misconception about the Data and AI industry?
💡That it’s only for tech wizards. In reality, it’s about using data to tell compelling stories and make informed decisions, which anyone with curiosity and a willingness to learn can excel at.
❓Which skills have you learned while working at Tredence?
💡I've developed a strong ability to blend strategic insight with operational agility: turning complex data into actionable strategies. I’ve also sharpened my persuasive communication skills, making sure key initiatives get the attention they deserve. Additionally, working with various cross-functional teams has taught me how to efficiently get things done while fostering collaboration.
❓How do you stay motivated when faced with challenges or setbacks?
💡By channelling my inner Rocky Balboa – it's not about how hard you hit, but how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. That, and copious amounts of caffeine, and grilled cheese sandwiches.
❓If you could hire any fictional character to work with you, who would it be and why?
💡Undoubtedly Sherlock Holmes. His extraordinary deductive skills would ensure problems are solved before they even become issues. Plus, his knack for piecing together clues would make every project smoother and more insightful.

Entering the new year with some exciting news:
I won the Employee of the Year award at our 2023 end-of-year gala! My CREDIT DIRECT LIMITED journey has been nothing short of a whirlwind, and I'm still trying to let it all sink in.
The truth is, the recognition goes beyond a personal achievement. It's a proof to the power of aligning passion with purpose. Throughout last year, I poured my heart and soul into every projects and tasks, not because I aimed for awards, but because it felt right. The late nights, navigating through crazy deadlines, they became manageable and meaningful because they were fueled by my deep connection to CDL vision and values.
In the grand scheme of things, the award is a reminder that hard work, dedication, and a genuine commitment to excellence do not go unnoticed. But the real secret is that, I never set out to be an award-winning employee (not something I fancy). My focus has always been on doing good work because it's the right thing to do, not because I crave recognition.
So, to everyone reading this, in 2024, I encourage you to keep showing up with passion and dedication. Don't settle for mediocrity; strive for excellence. Be fully aligned with your company's vision and values, let that be your guiding light.
Success may not always come with a shiny trophy, but it will undoubtedly follow those who consistently do great work for the right reasons.
Cheers to a new year filled with purpose, and the joy that comes from doing what we love.
